It's not always the uniform, gun, handcuffs, etc. I've dated 3 (at different times) and been out with them without their uniforms, but I still found them so damn hot. It seems that cops are all I'm attracted to now!! :)

It's not uncommon. I read an article, about ten years ago, that said there are a lot of cop groupies. They interviewed women who were cop groupies. Some of them kept souvenirs like a button from the uniform. One showed the author of the article her button collection. I think it's the power that attracts women.
I've known women with all kinds of preferences in men. I also have three adult sons who tell me they've found it creepy when a girl went after them because they looked like a particular "type". One of my sons was in the military and said he had girls try to pick him up when he was in uniform. We lived on a ranch for many years and one of my boys wore a cowboy hat and western dress. He said girls tried to pick him up when he was in a big town. They were excited by the idea of a cowboy. I like outdoors-men myself. Ranchers, rugged type guys. Who knows what draws us to a particular type?

perhaps its the handcuffs. It could be the uniform too, my wife likes the way I look in mine, (but she has to say that).

Its totally the protection aspect. Of course the pants tend to run a little tight in the back so it could also be the tight a**.

probably the whole daddy thing. i'm not saying your into your dad but the cop thing goes with soldiers, sailors, pilots, firefighters. say what you want, women want a guy who will make them feel safe and provide. that basically sums up what dads are to them. with rich guys he's in the provider role.
