Neophytes of Birth can participate in this. Unfortunately, I am not asking the people who want to maintain their preference in believing babies come through walls. Whatever your marked experience, it is not relevant here because I am only asking People who believe the World may not be Flat after all. Most Men and Women do not know what I am talking about - but it exists the Big Circle of a Birthing Woman. If only Women knew how OPENED they became through the wonderful workings of their Bodies, they would not be scared to swim. They would not tear, if only they knew one thing, but I am not allowed to tell. No, I got censored on French yahoo, for telling & showing my compatriots a 3D animation of the Beautiful rythms of the vaginal canal. So much for my Country with the highest episiotomy rate in the World, whose psyche I touched obviously when proving 'humbly' that the World is Round and Coronation beheadings are tantamount to medieval Times complete with plying to the master's Right(!)

Good - you are helping despite some assumptions which we will ironed out as we proceed TOGETHER towards 'enlocking' some real facts.
First, let me iron out what we don't need:
A top Contributor who BARGES onto this question, without giving ANY input. It is a pity indeed, an Anthropologist with knowledge of Medieval taboos cannot add a valuable perspective here. Since I am in a 'delicate' situation, on one hand, I have been censored, on the other, the taboos are ingrained in People's assumptions...
But, the Top Contributor in Anthropology has broken the Guidelines:
1. Demeaned both Question & Asker
2. Demeaned all comments in this 'Circle' of People
3. As such Contemptuous of the content & manner of Game
4. In the context: SEXIST
5. IGNORANT
It is 5 which is abusive, consider in ANTHROPOLOGY:
A. The Taboo of Incest.
B. Woman's Blood. ( Interesting perspective the Japanese have put on their National Flag; might want to investigate)
C. Ever heard of Fetishes ?
Marsh Hare ?

Science: well, i am welcoming you here. but, please, let us remain humble Scientists: drop the accusations. It is enough to evaluate facts, with common sense and elegance, no ?
You may look into the laborious evolved theories of the 'Dungeons' masters & compare them to other numbers available. Who knows you may share the view that Birth as generally understood belongs in Scientism - not Science at all.
This why it is difficult & challenging for ANYONE to explain why we should believe the World is round.
Perhaps, now, my Good Scientist, we can appreciate what it must have been for a Giant - not our little circle here - like Galileo to have to EXPLAIN: well, it is not flat, no; doesn't work like U think at all, no;sorry if you spent your entire Lives 'labouring' & writing laboriously about it, and yes, it doesn't account to much; BUT, ROUND is BEAUTIFUL.
It is so easy to love & accept it for what it is
A Top hat advised me: Modify the Taboo
I replied Modifying the C = Adams' Sin?

Thom1274: Thank you for allowing the right to express a rather serious matter. Giving Birth is FAR more important in a Woman's Life than you might think.
Often, there are PHYSICAL consequences to a Birth which has gone 'badly'.
As for the psychological consequences, let me say this:
Women on both questions who have offered the sharpest criticisms, well, we have communicated on e-mail.
We are all now around the Circle, open-minded. It is just a matter of 'talking', relating, the Human touch - the Woman's thing. Men, they don't always understand it, but they know it exists.
So, suffice to say: there is no animosity on this page - it is all about trying to make sense of things.
When I got to America, i went to see one of your Comics, Ronda Sykes, I think I got the name OK? At one point she spoke about how Women her age had to 'pee' often. Well what can U do if you squash the Circle, you have chances of hurting internal organs, like the Bladder. The sad laughter came from older Women

OK Yahoos-in-English. There's a small problem on the other side of the Atlantic. I'm glad I'm here, & hope safe?
Chocolat is a young French Woman .on Yahoo.fr Think of Chocolat as one of the French Women who CHEERED when our French Spirit conceived of giving Your Free spirited Country a Gigantic Symbol of Liberty - a STRONG Majestic Woman, despite the contradictions which existed at the time - that is slavery, colonialism...etc
Chocolat is under fire. So are many others. That is a matter for them to take up. Someone suggested writing to USA Yahoo. It is a French Taboo, this one, more difficult to pierce than the Circle: unconditional Love is not believed often. It may seem self-edificating to suggest to them: I can write a letter in English for you, but I suggest you try writing in English on US
Maybe all this will calm down - the French tempers flare up. The Fever will subside. In the meantime, many are being censured!
So, I hope we get one more answer, a VERY useful one for all.

Science: this is turning out to be a discourse in labour too. This is always a Good situation in which to find oneself because Form & Content become one of the same thing! You do it Right = You do it Beauty. You preserve the Species.
Ethics & Esthetics together on the Podium. What you suggesting is useful, (we've dropped the'accusations' remember ?) but as it turned out, even when I chose to Birth + someone who KNEW what to do, I could not 'get there' - m'eclater dans L'Univers Yfr - Why ?
Check the other answers in the other category of this Tabboed Question centuries Old. You'll discover some truths, many assumptions, as IS always the case when breaking Taboos. This Taboo is ANCIENT. It is incredible I can even refer to it 'shyly'.
But i 'm wondering if the Medical profession would not welcome a real change ? I mean even in Medical School, as I was telling a very useful Top hat: they would LOVE the hm,hm, what would you call it for fun ?
The Witches' vectorial C maneuvers COURS ?

Science: i had a Good Midwife - pity i did not have Her as Neophyte - as The Firsts, you know.
But Science, she was a little 'austere' for me, I passed the Exam well & safely, if you like. But my Animal, what another contributor assume is 'inate' because, well...in the Dungeons or an Exam hall: U don't burst your Bubble either. Savvy ?
WHERE ARE THE SPONSORS HERE: we need to CHANGE the Dungeons. Think of all our new category of interior decorators ? It exists NOT. It is not expensive either: it is the Accountants who may 'burst their bubble' at the Savings they are labouring to find somewhere. The NUMBERS would MATTER to the Accountants.
Ina may gaskin Birth Centre, The Farm has published numbers. Science, are you a Scientist ? Then explain to me how one can have the illogical situation of 2 definitions of the 'Multipare' - the very complicated cases on one Hand, & the TOTALLY opposite on the other. Brother, it does not make sense anymore:
these are animals - not Martiens. So?

So, it's true that you can't post images here that show genitalia...that's pretty straight forward, and listed in the Community Guidelines. I recognize that you were not posting this for sexual purposes, but it is a violation, none the less.
I don't know a single person who believes that babies come through walls...I'm a little confused as to where you're coming from on this one.
And, if you want to share this great birthing methodology, your best bet is to stop making people feel bad about what they know now, and to help them learn about this method in a positive manner. All you're doing with this post is making people confused and defensive, since you're clearly on the attack.
If you really want to help people to have a better birthing experience, why don't you post a question asking if women would enjoy this more pleasant experience. It might also help if you would actually discuss the methodology that you're referring to, instead of trying to make all of us feel stupid for not knowing about it.
There are many, many ways of giving birth, and each woman needs to choose what is right for her and her family. Some may choose this method, some may choose another. What's right for you may not be right for someone else.
I believe the world is not flat...but I can't find anything on the internet about "circle of birthing", so without more information from you, I really can't comment on the method in and of itself.
Seriously, Frederique, can you please let us all in on what it is that you're talking about? It's not fair to be mad at us for not knowing, if you're not willing to share the information.

I don't think it's a Taboo, I think it's just something people aren't really interested in seeing unless it's for medical purposes. If I were you I wouldn't worry about it and move to issues that really affect women. I'm not sure what its like in France but in the US we're pretty loose. Ever heard of the vagina monologues? I don't advocate that you watch or listen to them, but it should give you an idea of where we are in this country. If anything we are the opposite of prude to the negative extreme.

I understand completely where you are coming from. You are not brainwashed by the partriarchal, woman-hating elite culture. Neither am I. But your mind will rest easily when you are not so defensive. Be secure within yourself. You know the old ways are the true ways.

I don't know what birthing method Frederique is talking about, but from
her evasiveness and accusations, I can infer what it is. My guess is that
the secret method consists of sexual stimulation of the vagina. That
makes sense, because a sexually aroused vagina is widened, which
would hypothetically make birth easier.
