After becoming a resident my credit file was never created. I tried a dozen times to get some credit never did. I sent proof of all identification and they responded saying they created my file on this date ..... I feel all the inquiries shuld be delete if I didnt have a file why r they marked on my new one. What kind of letter do I need to send and to whom ?? All 3 bureaus ??? Thanks for your help. I have been able to get 2 cards after that but no more reason being to many inquiries .. Should the bureau take responsibility at least half ??

If the inquiries were not a result of you applying for credit, then dispute them with each CRA that the inquiries are showing on.

If they were because of your applying for credit, disputing them can lead to more headaches then just leaving them.

You could end up with fraud alerts being placed on your reports and also current creditors may rate jack you, decrease your credit limits or close accounts if you dispute legitimate inquiries
