How do players keep sexual relationships completely sexual? How do you keep you emotions from getting involved when the person is a friend? How do you not hurt the other person or get hurt yourself? I need some advice for the emotional safety of everyone involved.

Don't know if I'm the right one to answer this, but I'll give it a try. What I've done so far to keep my sex partners only sex partners and not initmate girlfriends or emotional partners is being impersonal. I'm their friend, yeah, but I don't tell them too initmate or personal things about myself. The most they know is my name, my house, and where I work. That's it. The more they know about you, the more they feel connected to you and that's where the emotions tie in. The less they know, the less likely they are to have emotions when doing stuff (like sex) with you. Hope this helps, it worked for me so far.

This is straight from the Player HandBook so listen up: Don't lie.....about anything involving the relationship if u want sex an nothing more stand on it! You don't have to sayit in a mean way just keep it simple: This is what I want with no complications,I am not prepared to offer more.I can't give details cuz you didn't give details but that's the basics of it.Ask if they accept the terms and hold them to it.

Don't stay the night, don't let your partner stay the night. Do it only as a 'booty call'- ie. no 'hanging out'; you have needs, get then satisfied and move on. You should have never gotten involved with a friend (it will never be the same). Stop messing around with your friend, the longer you continue, the worse it is.

Never have sex with someone you have "feelings" for. If your gonna be a playa, you've got to keep it on a business level. As soon as you start callin the morning after it's over. To be a playa you have to keep your playa life separate from your "real" life. That's were it gets hard and why there are so few real playa's. Hell, if it were easy...we'd all be playa's. LOL

if your feelings get involved then you are not a player! being a player isn't hard. If some one likes me i make it known that this is strictly pleasure, so when they tell "I'm in love" i tell them "its over". you have a player mentality. if you are a want to be playa then you will get played

Players have sex with girls, then leave them to rot. Emotions? Nah, they have none. Honestly, someone how could someone who doesn't have a pit for a soul just have sex with girl after girl? They think they are cool, but I for one don't.

It's easier for guys, because we don't tie sex to love or emotions - it's a purely physical need.

You just have to have it settled in your mind that you are going to enjoy yourself and not make any commitments now and be comfortable with it.

"Players" (as you apply this term) are able to sever the line that intertwines between the two levels of commitment; FRIENDSHIP and RELATIONSHIP.
They define the boundaries so clear-cut and are unable to blend the two as one.

You really have to be hardened to have no emotions. Most people can't do it.
