No.

If African Americans were never enslaved who knows what the world would be like today? All of the history behind it wouldn't exist. Yes, many people were harmed mentally and physically, even killed but the US wouldn't be the US it is today if it had never happened, let alone the fact that the culture of African Americans around the world would be completely different.

yea, I think, i mean if you think about it there probably wouldn't be any African American's in America so we would have to say goodbye to pretty much all black inventions. also the few african's who do migrate to America would experience degrating treatment that they experience back then.

What I'm trying to say is if we as America didn't experience slavery back then we would problaby be experiencing it right now. I also believe that America was meant to be a country made of an intergration of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs and slavery ironically a successful way of doing that. So i guess I wounld'nt change our history.Through our experience in slavery it helped to change America from an ignorant society towards promoting acceptance (for the most part)for different cultures in our socitey

No I would go back further and have the Africans not enslave the Slavic people, which is where the terms slave orginated. Slavery goes back much further than the Europeans, in fact the Europeans were probably the last to adopt the practice.

Would you travel to Africa now to stop the rampant slave trade that still exists? How about in Asia?

Do not change the history is the first rule for time travellers.

Anyway, I think it would be bad for them, consider how many people die in Africa nowadays and how many descendants of those slaves live happily in developed countries.

It is better to be a descendant of an slave than not exist at all.

yes, because it has made some blacks hate white people and look down on themselves like they are not as good as other when that is not true at all,but it has made them strong in a lot of ways. It's an old fable that states anything that don't kill you will make you strong and it is true.

Offer the job to someone else, or give them a CHOICE.

Nobody EVER should be or should of been forced to do anything.

Many lessons have been learned in many different cultural grounds. hopefully history won't repeat itself.

absolutely. people wouldn't have been discriminated agaisnt as much and more importantly many people wouldn't have been killed.Everyone would have been free. the only disadvantage is the harm it might do to me. People might try to sabotage me, but if I had the chance to do something as huge as that, it would be my job to do so.

Better yet, ask if the Africans would sell each other to the Europeans.
