we put a stop to gobal warming? And to your republicans who are too stupid to do anything, we contribute more than 4%. And even IF we did contribute only 4%, let's make it 0%.

And would it be a good idea to get a bunch of bands together to raise awareness about global warming and to try to stop it?

My friends and I have a band, and we know a couple other ones, we could put a show on maybe.

regarding bands: Bands generate noise. Noise is its own form of pollution. How do bands travel around? By cars and trucks. Bigger bands travel by bus, and successful bands travel by jet.

How much fuel is consumed by some stupid dope smoking high school dropout activist drummer traveling to his gig? Then, when he gets through with his groupies, he and his band trash the hotel.

Is that conservation of our resources or not?

Regarding your general statement about republicans. Now, I am not a republican or a democrat. But for you to think the reps are not caring about GW without including the dems is downright hypocritical.

Remember: Al Gore wastes more energy in a month than you can conserve in a year.

Regarding Global Warming: Why is there global warming on Mars? Is it because of those little rockets that we sent there to pollute their atmosphere?

If you are going to be so general as to blame the US for all global warming, you should review the Kyoto protocol.

Who was exempt? (jeopardy music playing).

China and India.

Who is the leading world manufacturer now and the leading contributer to greenhouse gas emissions? It ain't the USA. Try China and then India.

So, what good does Kyoto do? Not a dang thing.

Do you like driving to your band concerts? Not with zero emissions.

Do you like playing loud? Not with electrical instruments.

Do you have plastic parts? Top bad as they contribute to emissions.

How will your fans travel to your show? Do you think they should all walk or ride a bike? How about Beer sales?

I could go on.

Wow, that guy has issues. Whatever the details, events like Live Aid and the like have raised awareness. Certain things can be done in a green manner--it's worth a shot.
