Why do all of these kids get on asking questions about there Love life. Should 9 years old have a love life??!!
Where the hell are there parents dont they pay attention to what these kids are doing. If there thinking this seriously about relationships now there going to be thinking sex tomorrow!!!!! What is wrong with this picture??!!

I agree...kids should not be worrying about sex and love at such young ages. Kids should be kids! Unforunately, our culture pushes them into thinking love and sex are requirements for happiness and acceptance. Parents do have a responsibility to teach their children otherwise, though popular culture makes it difficult to do so.

Personal responsibility is dead.
We live in a world where you can sign a mortgage, and then sue the lender when you can't make the payments you agreed to. When parents are acting with such little responsibility for themselves, how can you expect their kids to grow up any more responsibly?
We live in a sad world, where if you're a bad parent, you can blame video games and TV and the internet and get away with it because a politician told you it was okay. Then that guy gets elected again because all of the irresponsible parents like being told that its not their fault that they raised their kids badly.
If I ever have children (which, in today's world, I'm not sure I want to bring a child into), they're not dating until 16. Period, because I'm the parent and I'm responsible for that child's well being until age 18 at the very least.

yes, i think the same thing aren't their parents around to say not until your like 13 or something like that, when i was that age i still thought guys still had cootys, girls and boys shouldn't go out and date at that age, they don't know what to do and for another thought they cant do anything with out parents, this picture has the worst effect on the Kids of America and how we are getting worse and worse. Now sex they wont be able to until they get mature, they think about sex too much, the children should stay out of that subject till they are around 16 because i don't think they wanna go to jail.

Several factors are at play here -
First both parents are working hard and when they come home most are probably exhausted and little energy to discipline or spend quality time.
Second- Most media is crap ( from MTV to Rap) which glamorizes promiscuous sex, & thug life.
Third - Technology , has made it a lot easier to get access to what was centered stuff. Even with parental control, kids will find a away of getting stuff if they really want. (ie friends at school..etc.).

What's wrong with this picture is theres no parental guidance in their home......You need to communicate with your children and know whats going on in their life....Even if they are just 9 years old....Their involve in school and they have friends of their own...They do have their own feelings and thoughts too....It's important for your children to know they can come to you at any point and connect with you...They need to know that no matter what we as parents are always there for them....

well my husbands little brother (he's 29 now)told us that kids where doing it at 8 and 9 when he was young and has encouraged us to have the talk with our 8 and 11 year olds

There is a lot of parents out there who are worrying about themselves to much and not enough to their kids. And they wonder why their daughters are pregnant at 14. We should be focusing on our next generation to make this place a 'better' place not a 'worse' one.

I know it's crazy my little 5Th grade brother is asking me for advice on getting a new girl friend!!!!!!! The girls in his class where the lady clothes for 18 year olds but in the smallest size of abercrombie, hollister ect. (so do some of the guys) and I see girls at my college wearing the same stuff!!!!

I don't know.. to answer the question... I don't even think about having a love life and I am 14.... I think that it should wait... but anyway. I seriously think that they need to chill!
