i would let them choose, you can do it by age and gender but you want them to get along, so its best if they chose. and then let them shuffle if it dosnt work. id put the 13 mo. and 2 year old together even though there seperate genders cuz there so young, but if they have prefrences let them choose too. and in case u havnt i did the math, evrey room will have to have 2 kids except one with three.
oh, if u have an attic put the oldests up there, but dont give anybody a room to themsleves or te others will get jelious.
and the paretns in the master bedroom of course

Hmmm, wow. Lots of kids. I guess it depends on how big the rooms are too. I'd put the 4 year old boy and the 2 year old boy in the same room. Maybe the 13 month old can sleep with the parents for awhile and than later move into that room with 4 and 2. The six year old and the eight year old in another room. The two nine year olds and the 14 year old in the attic. The two 13's and the 11 can share. I would probably have it so the 19, 17, and 16 year old have their own because teens need their own space and are more likely to need a quiet place to do their studies. Then, when one of the oldest moves out the next oldest can have the "big kid" luxury of their own room!

I will pray for your collective new family and I hope that the love that the two of you share will be the bonding agent for all the children .... Everything has a way of working out for the best .........

You sound like the movie we just saw - Yours Mine and Ours. I would say the bedrooms are the least of your problems. Remember the Brady Bunch supposedly had three to a room, but the beds were almost touching....
The 19 yr old by himself in the attic. Twins (two sets!) with their twins. Girls 17 and 14 together. Boys 16, 11, 8 together (Maybe a triple bunk). Boys 6, 4 together. Babies 2 and 13mo together. The 16 yr old can move to the attic when big bro moves out in a yr or two.

I'd guess I'd go with the age group/gender thing. Roughly two to a room and the youngest two although one a boy and ones a girl then they could share and have a room left over.
