What is love? Love is not being able to be separated from the person that you love even for one minute....it is flying down the road to meet him.....to see if there are any letters from him when he is away....to wait near the phone just to hear his voice. To cry if you have a small quarrel and think he wont see you again.. love is not to be able to eat until you see him.....to have sleepless nights because you want to be with him and cant because you arent married and live at home.....love is flying round the world to meet him or to be with him...love is looking deeply in his eyes and thinking he is the most beautiful creature on earth...to want to touch his lips, his eyebrows and to trace your fingers over his face and ears. Love is wanting him so much that you die inside.Love is like floating in the air...of not seeing anyone in the world except the person you love...love is...when you love him so much that you would die for him.....thats what love is!!!How do I know.????Because thats how I felt when I met my husband and Im sure thats love!!

do you mean romantic love, like a woman feels to her lover? Or all encompassing love?Or motherly love a mother feels towards her children? Or the love someone feels who loves to do something specific- like an activity, art, or whatever?I would say, to such a general question there is only a general answer. To me love means that the person who loves puts the object of his or her love above himself and his personal feelings and wellbeing.

Love is an inadequate word. The love you feel for your sister, brother, mother, father, is very different and not the same as the love you feel for your baby, boy-girlfriend, wife, husband. Ever read the Four Loves by CS Lewis?
