I am throwing a baby shower in just a couple of weeks. My itinerary contains the following games/activities:
1) "My water broke" I bought plastic babies and am freezing them in ice cube trays with water. As each guest arrives, she gets a dixie cup with a frozen plastic baby. The first person whose baby is free without touching him yells "my water broke" and gets a prize.
2) I ordered personalized baby shower scratchoff tickets. The winner will get a real lotto scratch off.
3) Each guest will get a few baby clothespins. No one is allowed to say "baby" If you catch someone saying baby...you take one of their clothes pins. Person at the end with the most clothespins wins a prize.
4) How big is her belly. Pass around yarn and scissors and have people cut off how much will fit around mama's belly.
5) I have bought 5 jars of baby food. I am removing the labels. Guests can guess what's in the jars. One with the most right wins.
6) Pass the Gift. I borrowed a poem/story from the internet and will read. The gift gets passed around to the person who fits the description: who has travelled the furthest, who has the biggest purse etc.
7) yes...busy party...thinking about getting some blue and white beats and giving 1 blue and 1 white to each guest who makes a wish for the baby and 1 for the mama and then adds her beads to the string. Creates bracelet for the mama to wear to delivery.

At a few showers that I have been to they have had a baby bingo game. You give out a piece of paper or card with spaces designed just like a regular bingo game but the spaces are left blank so that each person can write down a different item that they think the mother and baby will recieve as gifts. As the mother unwraps the gifts everyone marks off with stickers any matching gifts that are on their bingo card. Also there has been a game where each person guesses how big around the mothers belly is by using toilet paper. Each person unravels the amount of toilet paper they think is the right size.

when I had my baby shower we played a game were you passed the baby(baby doll). You played music and stoped ever little bit. Who was holding the baby(baby doll) was out. Then we played a game where everyone was given a clothes pin and who ever was caught saying the word baby(or whatever word you want) got thier pin took. Whoever had the most by the end of the shower won. Or you can play a game where you blind fold someone and see how fast they can diaper a baby(baby doll). You could unscramble words. Take and think up how many things there is for a baby and scramble the words up. Give everyone 2 or 3 mins. to to it. You could also put cotton balls in a bowl and blind fold some one and put a bowl on thier head. Give them 3 to 5 tries to see who could get the most in the bowl. But the one I like the most is where you take plain diapers and put condments in them. For example mustard, ketchup, baby food you get the idea. Number the diapers and keep a list of what goes with what diapers. Pass them around one at a time and let everyone guess what they are. You can be very creative with this one.

Somebody gave my sis this idea: When you have your babyshower, instead of getting cards, have everyone bring a childrens book, and write their note in there. It's pretty cool when they get a bit older. Another thing if your unsure of names for baby, is when people bring their gifts, have them write a name on the gift that they think is a good name trhat you should use.

Diaper surpise is a unique game...you get diapers for the amount of people that are coming and make a "mess" (with chocolate) in one of them..and pass them out or tape them under chairs..whoever gets the surprise wins!
Taste it! is another one...Put out babyfoods and place numbers by them...and have the guests GUESS the food, it's a nice time consumer game.....hard ones are like Sweet potatoes or blueberries
What day was he/she conceived? Just a fun guessing game.
Lastly, Get on your computer and look up some nursery rhymes...jumble the letters or change the words (via synonyms) or fill in the blank to make it difficult and have people guess them!

EGG GAME
Take a plastic easter egg and fill with any thing that will fit into it (toothpick, saftey pin, straight pin, rubber band, band aid, coin, button, ring. . . etc) you want to stuff as many different items as possible into it. Make a list of what you put inside. Then tape around the seam of the egg so it wont come apart. Give everyone a piece of paper and pen, pass the egg around for everyone to look at, have them try and guess whats all is in the egg. give them about 15 mins. then open the egg up to show everyone whats inside, who ever guesses the most items WINS!

The diaper game with different candy bars melted in the diaper is pretty fun.
Your guest pass around the diaper to guess the candy bar that is like poo in the diaper and whoever gets the most right wins.

Take white felt and make little baby diapers, put a spot of mustard in one of them and the person that gets the "poopy" diaper wins a prize. Or you each have a safety pin and you are not allowed to cross your legs, it you spot someone that has their legs crossed, you get their pin, the one with the most pins wins a prize. They are pretty fun and you get a lot of laughter from them.

get some yarn and pass the ball and a pair of scissors around to everyone, get them all to cut a piece of yarn that they think represents the size of Mommy's belly. Whoever's is closest wins.
Also, if the parents haven't announced names yet, but do have them picked, announce only the initials, then have everyone guess the name.

Make a CD with baby type songs, groups - mamas and the papas, babyface ,etc, Teach Your Children Well -then play name that tune. This can double as a favor.
Play charades, pictionary, scattagories, etc, with baby items listed, baby movies, baby songs, tv shows, about the couple, anything you can brainstorm.
