Why don't you just hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard? Then paste it into "Paint". If you hit "Alt" while you hit the key, you'll only get the active window.

Depends on what you need it for. You can always just use ALT+Print Screen, then paste into a program like Windows Paint.
Or, try running a Google search.

Find the key with "print screen" or "PrtScn" on it. Tap that key. Next go to Paint and choose "paste" (edit menu/paste or right click/paste) this will complete the operation. Clicking PrtScn will not work unless you follow up with the Paste command in Paint or Word or any other program that can handle images..
