Think of all the paradoxes that could be created with a book that had all answers. Such an item could literally destroy the know universe....
Of course I'd read it!

To be honest, I would prefer "not to" but as humans we all are very curious by instinct & also in this life we do need some answers either now or later. So I think I may read it but GRADUALLY cause reading the whole book at one go won't make much sense so won't be wise either because UNTIL we enter a certain phase & experience certain things, the answers MAY NOT express it's full meaning to us that's because THEORY always become more MEANINGFUL & REAL only when coupled with PRACTICALITY. So I think I would rather treat this book more like a "POCKET GUIDE" & read it along the way whenever I need to & I'll open the relevant chapters ONLY when I'm done with that particular LESSONS- Explored & Learned things which might have definitely left some IMPORTANT QUESTIONS which couldn't be answered otherwise.
And I think, this way life would be much more Interesting & Fun because I would always have something to LEARN & GROW.
Btw, thanks for this VERY beautiful & thought provoking question- keep it up :)

For every answer, there's twice as many questions. Really, it's impossible to have a book with all of the answers. If there was a book that many answers to the questions I'm looking for, than yes, I would. The problem is, I'd create more questions.
Maybe the answers to that would be in books 2.

Is not there already a book opened for us as we live through our lives. And don't we start a new chapter at the beginning of every new day till the time we go to sleep, a chapter never to be repeated ever again, but the book never to be left out of sight even for a moment. And then even in our sleep we stay restless and dream, dreams of impossible worlds beyond the one we have, lives beyond all possibilities, dreams that are appendices to our life.
To me life is the book that we read and search for the answers that too we find while we try so much harder to live so much better everyday. Life cannot be questioned in its entirety for life is all we have, and it is all we need to find the answers to all the questions we may ever come up with.

That's what I'm doing. One chapter is this website, one chapter is all the scriptures and other writings, one chapter is nature, one chapter is us, one chapter is other media. Life is the book that contains all the answers to life. Remember to read it while you live it, it's an amazing comedy / tragedy / drama. If we can learn to read nature and life we will see synchronicity, serendipity and symbolism everywhere. We can learn something from everyone we meet. If we learn from our mistakes then we won't make them again and the same situations won't reoccur. If we look deeper than the surface, we can see so much more.

Yes but then I'll read anything!
Would I believe it or read to the end? That depends on how near the early chapter answers are to the ones I've already learnt over the last 50 years.

Maybe the first chapter, or any chapters that would be relevant to me. I don't like reading books for no good reason, and I can imagine this would be a long old book, and many chapters would be boring to me, as they wouldn't affect me. It might be a nice one to keep in the bookcase though, so you could flick through it for reference purposes as each life stage came your way.
I personally feel that nothing in my life so far has needed an answer provided by anyone other than me though, so not sure how useful this book would be. If you rely on others to solve your issues, then you've got one big issue that will never be solved!!

It would depend how big the book was - I mean would it really be possible to fit all the answers to life in one book? And what about the questions? answers with no questions are just complete nonsense....
That is unless of course the answer is 42
