Also if chance doesn't work in your favor, do you then claim, "God has a reason for" that particular outcome?

Where the wind blows...Where the snow falls...Where your dice land...Is chance.
There's purpose for chance just like anything else.
Who creates all the possibilities for chance?
God does.

You are the master of your fate as a Soul. You can choose what proportion of fate will pre-destine your life. There are Souls that come from the Trial and Error group and they opt for no fate. Souls on a structured path, those who have a purpose or even mission in life, choose destiny. Christ did that. Not only his Father but also he sacrificed himself.

When it comes to God, he can see events far into the future, so to him everything makes sense, and from his mega-perspective nothing is left to chance. Basically, the smaller an unimportant you are, the more free will are you likely to have.

Chances rarely work out to my favour, because I live a lifetime of purification. Painful as it may be at times, yes I say that God knew the reason for it, and that certainly helps me to learn from the situation, and move on to the next one.

Does this help with your question?

Normally those who take God as the steerer of his life are those who are taking the chances. It is like going along the streams and then when they bump their heads on a rock., they will simply ask,"Why are you doing this to me?"
The fact of the Free Will is you take the road you think will bring you to your destiny. Your choice has to be right in order that your journey will be fruitful and enjoyable for you. There are many roads to choose from and just have to find the right one for you. If you get lost along the way, stop for a while, trace back or make a detour but don't just stop and sulk. If you slip, stand and move on make what hurts be a lesson learned. that is the main reason why God made you His creation....you create your own destiny, God gives you His blessing for every right thing you do but if you try to do things the wicked way, whatever joy it gives you, it is not going to last for good.

If there were ever 1, just 1 thing considered a 'coincidence' then God wouldn't exist.

Yes, if things don't go the way I want them, then I know God has a reason for it.

As a Christian, I don't believe in coincidence or luck. All things God!

The bible says that God knew us all before we were formed in our mothers wombs and that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose so...we may take 'chances' in our own mind..but we believe God knows in advance what we are going to do. Believers believe those choices work together for our eventual benefit so nothing is really 'a tossup'.
