does anyone know what they have to do with one another? i am a pot smoker. and sometime i get these paranoid episodes.. wtf? this never used to happen to me before, and the only thing i can think of is i did have a traumatic event one night where a very close friend totally stabbed me in the back, now my paranoid thoughts are that i cant trust anyone and everyone is laughing at me... this has also happened to my best friend, before it ever had happened to me and i would tell her to just chill, but i now i feel where shes coming from.. please someone explain this to me. how can i be a normal pot smoker again? i really miss it...

paranoia is based on yr own feelings, (and fear is a common one, though not an easy one), accept those, or at least recognize them. it will make you less paranoid. also, deliberately send your thoughts in a positive direction. especially when smoking pot it is easy to do. you can get yourself out of it. are you not easily distracted when you're stoned? I am. and I only have to put on the music I love and tell the world to go stuff itself. then I feel better. If i tell myself I'm worth gold, then paranoia has little chance... I then have to watch for arrogance.. :)) No seriously, you can change a paranoia mood, by deliberately telling yourself: stop it, think of something more constructive, start singing, clean the windows, do something constructive. it always works for me. If I'm too sad, or too happy or paranoia... it works by just doing something that takes yr mind of it. Also, when I stopped smoking the tobacco that went with it, I immediately had a lot less pollution in my body and that cleaned up some fear too. the pot is a lot less damaging to health than tobacco. no one dies just from pot. they do from tobacco or wrong ideas, but not pot. smile, have fun, cry when you want to... :)

I don't smoke, but I know plenty of people that indulge and are successful functioning members of society. So you will not hear me say Don't Smoke. Personally if that is the worse you do "BIG Deal" it is natural.

Anyways the reason you feel all paranoid is because while smoking the pot somewhat sedates and relaxes your body, it inhances your senses. So, if you have been stressed out lately or the surroundings you are in are somewhat stressing then this could be the cause of it. It could also be a hormal change going through your body that is just not mixing well, kind of like a counter-reaction to the chemical. It does happen, like and allergy to it. It could be several other factors, are you on new meds or have you been on them. I would probably limit your use for a while. You should be fine, eventually, also one last thing make sure you are trusting the person you buy from, maybe they are putting something in it!

Paranoia while smoking pot is completely normal. Some people just experience more than others.

I've been smoking herb for a long, long time now and I usually don't get paranoid, but I have before.

Maybe the atmosphere wasn't right that night or you weren't really digging the company. Pot can make you paranoid in itself but I have found that sometimes certain situations can bring it on or make it worse.

First of all, you need to give up that skunky shwag and get your hands on some good Sour Diesel or Purple Romulan Crush...

Secondly, you need to enjoy the ganj in the privacy of your own home for a bit - get used to puffin' the cheeb by yourself again before tokin' it up with your friends.

I've found that if I don't indulge for a while, the next time I do, I get really freaked too. You need to remember how it used to relax you. Go to a park or something, put on some good music (I find XM 80 to be really good under the influence) and chill.

Of course, you could always try to quit smoking...but what fun would that be?

Only smoke with your closest friends. Your brain is trying to panic to regain control of the mind from the THC. If you surround yourself with a good scene, your brain will have no foreign stimuli to process, it will realize everything chill, then you can just roll with the high.

That used to happen to me all the time. But, if you surround yourself with the right friends anyway, this wouldn't happen either. But start there, and then after you are comfortable when you are high, you can do it in more social settings

I bet you think pot is harmless don't you....here is an example of drugs really do for you...they screw you and your future up. Stop using ever thought of that or are your brain cells all burned out. Drugs are bad mmmmkay...

THE BEST THING TO DO IS NOT SMOKE POT CAUSE IT WILL NOT ONLY MAKE YOU PARANOID, SMOKING ONE CIGARETTEE OF POT IS LIKE SMOKING 5 OR MORE REG. CIGARETTS, POT IS VERY BAD FOIR YOU AND SO IS CIG. SO PLEASE IF YOU LOVE LIFE AND WANT TO LIVE YOU WILL QUIT SMOKING, IT INPAIRS YOUR JUDGEMENT, I USED TO SMOKE IT BUT HAVE BEEN QUIT FOR OVER A YEAR AND MY MIND HAS GOTTEN TWICE AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE .
