Has anyone come to know Jesus as a result of the ramblings on this site?

Has anyone changed their mind or opinion as a result of this site?

Do you really think this site has any use other than for the amusement of people...or for people to blow off steam?

Serious question...some fundamentalists have posted that they think God is working through this site...I think it is a cop out for a bunch of people who feel guilty wasting so much time on their butts...on the internet...

I wouldn't be on here, if it weren't for being slow at work...at just trying to pass the day...

What are your thoughts? Change your mind because of discussion? Is this a worthwhile place to be wasting time?

Sometimes I'm on this site to vent, but other times I really am on this site to learn. Of course I have my biases, but I HAVE learned a few more things to round out my opinions and make them more fair and less biased.

My conclusion hasn't changed though. I'm still agnostic. I've learned some of the flaws that make people challenge evolution, but I still think the evidence is clear. I've learned that some Christians understand the bible is flawed, but maintain their faith anyways.

They always say stuff like that, I was raised in it and heard it all the time. It's cute but delirious

I'm the same as you passing time and having some fun while at work. I think there are a bunch like that. I have fun or else I wouldn't be here. I do stop coming when I get bored with it.

I have found it upbuilding to know there are so many atheists and agnostics out there. I've heard others say the same thing

So let them think god is sending them here, it makes it even more fun

Hopefully people are educated here so yes it is a worthwhile conclusion.

I would doubt any atheist would convert to any religion based off what is here as the majority of religious people who post here are hate mongers with the rare few who don't post how I am going to hell.

No this site hasn't made me change my beliefs.

The only change they have made is that it reminds me daily how intolerant some christians can be to my path. It reminds me that no matter how nice someone is there will always be someone there to smack them around for it.

I enjoy wasting time here because every so often I have a glimmer of hope that people can be excepting of others.

I was a christian once a long time ago and my leaving is permanent; this site will not lead me back. However, I do find a lot to like about different religions in general and I find a lot to dislike too.

As for me personally...I have had questions that people have answered by listing scriptures that explained what I was looking for. So it has helping people in one way or another.

So yes I think it's worthwhile.

I used to just not believe in god. With the help of the nutty religious right, I actively dislike all religion. It has confirmed and strengthen my atheism.

I don't mind if they preach, It just shows how inane their beliefs are. They are more likely to drive people away from religion then draw them in.

How many times has this question been asked?

Of course not, it's not as if reading what we oftentimes consider as inane ramblings an incredible amount of times could make us change our minds on our beliefs.

It's pitiable if it happens, but it can't happen to me here.

No, I was born just fine the first time. And I'm still an atheist.
