Toyoda is a machinery manufacturer based in Japan and the U.S., not related to Toyota Motors.

Toyota Motor Corp is a spin off originally of Toyoda Automatic Loom Works, Ltd. They are not related corporation wise today, but Toyota Industries Corporation is still a shareholder in Toyota and produces engines and cars for Toyota Motor Corp.

The Toyota Lunne is a present day Toyota made in Japan for use overseas use only. There are presently many models of Toyota's available there that we are not aware of here in America. The Toyota Voxy is an example. Its a very sporty looking front wheel driven van. The front end is exceptionally low to the ground with a very rounded off front bumper and low slung spoiler that resembled a Hendrick Jimmy Johnson or Jeff Gordon Nextel Cup Car. I recently peaked underneath one in Japan and it had a complete stainless steel exhaust system and a standard 6" diameter stainless muffler. I also spotted a small front wheel drive turbo powered diesel Toyota that looked similar to our new Rav 4 cars. The owner said it had an Isuzu diesel in it. 95% of taxies in Osaka were infact Toyota Lunne's fuled by propane. I spoke to many drivers of these cars and propane's the word in Japan. Actually less expencive than in America! Gasoline is much more expecive than anywhere in America.
