You have not lived a full life until you have lived in Louisiana. Come on over and smell the alligators. Jump in an airboat and tour the swamp. Eat some cajun food in acadiana. Most important of all, Eat some rice and gravy.

Born and raised. Cool winters, HOT the rest of the time. Mosquitoes that laugh at you when you try to swat them away. Oppressive humidity. The occasional hurricane that comes along and wipes you out. BUT - the best food, music and people you'll ever come across. All said, I wouldn't live anywhere else.
