yes.
but primarily because my daughter really needs a daddy.
If I were mortally injured and had only moments to live, the tear in my eye would be the sadness at the thought of leaving her fatherless.

NO because death is not the end of life...only life on this earth. The only reason that I would not want to die right now is because I am still raising my children. But after they are grown and gone and can take care of themselves then let come what may....life and death are in God's hands not ours.
Ecclesiastes 8:8 There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

I can sit here safely at this table and say no I'm not afraid of death because I believe in the promises that God gives to those who have faith in His son.
Now....if I were walking down the street and someone came up and pointed a gun in my face, I would probably feel fear. Just to be honest about it! But that would not negate that I believe what the bible has told me.

Death is ceasing to exist, very sobering contemplation. I must have held a fear of death at some point, but that was before I understood what it meant to live. What our flesh experiences as death, is actually more of a rebirth. We ‘die’ and shed this body so that we live perfectly in eternity. This is the lesson Christ taught us when He spoke of being reborn.

I am not afraid of death because I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord & Savior. With that I have an eternal home in heaven.

Death? No, not at all. Pain before dying? Terrified! Such as I'm not scared that'll I'll be hit by a car and die, I'm scared that I'll be hit by a car and die in terrible pain.

No I'm not. Not ready for it, but certainly not afraid.
Why? Because I don't believe in afterlife. I'll become maggot food, and it'll be the end of that. Hey, natural cycle.

Sure I am. Because I don't know what will happen next and neither does anybody else.
But, of course, it is a natural part of life so we do have to accept it.

NO, because everybody will be ending that way around. Everybody will turn to dust and it's a natural thing.
