Technically, it's called "cursive" writing.

Here are some good resources:

I was really surprised that American people don't know how to write in cursive. I mean I can't write any other way. If I started writing in print, it would take me forever to even write a sentence. My science teacher once told me to write in print when taking his test, and he was really mad when I gave him the test back with everything in cursive. Well, I CAN'T write in print. Unless I sit down and take time to learn how to do that, it's impossible for me.

This should get you started:

Remember, practice makes perfect.

Oh, and in case you wondered, you cross your t's and x's and dot your i's and j's after you have written the entire word containing them... that way you do not stop between letters to do it.

Finally, I should mention: Uppercase letters often do not connect to the next letter, unless it is convenient. They never connect to the letter before them, so if you are writing in all caps (like an acronym, say), none of them will connect.
