The ones that are intended to be serious but are hilarious anyway...

I like funny ones as long as its not making fun of someone. I prefer serious ones without contradictory comments once you open the question. I also like ones that CAN be answered...explain your beliefs, for instance, is not something I can answer in just a few words or short time. I hate ones that are sermons or position statements that take up space and I do not read them.

If I'm in a serious mood I like creationist questions- the logic is usually so flawed that I enjoy systematically undermining them and it's even better if I can draw the questioner into a debate. Mostly though I prefer the silly ones that I can have a laugh at.

I tend to answer some of the more middle of the road and serious ones but with people I'm very familiar and comfortable with I let my 'funny' side (and sometimes slightly sarcastic side) come out when they ask funny questions.

Both because after answering serious ones you need the funny ones.

I like to have serious questions posed, but it is a relief to occasionally have a cute one, or read a funny answer (not mean, but funny). I hate the insensitive answers to serious questions and can't help but wonder what kind of person they are to purposely hurt people who are already hurting.

Ones where people actually are going to consider accepting the anwers they get.
And of course, any question that a smart azz answer might cause a laugh for someone else. I'm all about comedy. Laughing makes you younger and healthier.

Anything completely off the wall is fun. Or if I have strong personal opinions about the subject matter, I like the serious ones too.

I think the best questions are the ones that need to be answered because someone has the need for comfort or because they truly are in search of an answer that validates their own thoughts. Some people already have the answer they just need someone to let them know that they aren't alone in their thoughts.

I like serious questions better. But sometimes get a kick out of the funny ones - if they are not blasphemous.

I like answering both, although the funny ones are really my favorite. Godzilla, I Walk Funny and Avatard ask really funny questions. I can never resist those.
