You speak life over your family. You yield yourself in obedience to the Lord and turn away from the sin your parents fell to. You also have to TEACH your family/children the right way. The people of Israel had problems because despite all that ONE generation might have learned...they didnt teach to the NEXT and so one gen would be righteous and the next gen forgot and angered the Lord. The bible says 'people perish for lack of knowledge'. As you learn, teach your seed and they shall be delivered also.

Yes a curse by God will be passed down to the fourth generation. But only if the descendants do the same things that there forefathers were doing to bring on the curse. The obvious answer on how to get rid of the curse is to stop doing what it was that causes the curse. Just don't do it. Follow God's laws.

Well, from what I have learned is that curses, bad luck and the like passed down from earlier generations don't have power unless you give in to them. Kharma sticks to a person, not a family or generation. If you don't want your future generations, fight to change what is within your power to change in the "cursed" part of your life, that is, the part of your life which is prone to be cursed according to what you have been told. If you are trippin about this without there being an actual curse that has been put on your family, then you need to get out and live more rather than worrying about life that has yet to happen. Wishing you all the best.

Each curse is unique and there isn't a single, generic way to break one. The first step is to determind if there even is a curse, or if there is another explaination. Then the source of it must be determined, which ancestroy was cursed, by whom and for what reason. After that a counter curse can be fromulated by someone experienced is such matters. Truth to tell, the best sources for breaking curses are those that are experienced in casting them. Also the idea that curses only work if you believe in them is in error. In fact, most people that cast them couont on the fact that people won't believe. That keeps them from taking the steps necessary to counter it. As someone that is quite experienced in matters pertaining to curses (both acasting and breaking) and that makes their living through the use of the magical arts...I might be able to help.

As a witch, I need to know more about this curse. Who placed it upon your family and why? You can't just throw this out and expect someone to know what your talking about. If it is a true curse I would need to know its origins.
Yes generational curses do exist. It sounds like someone in your family pissed off a very powerful witch in the past and now you and your desendents are paying the price.
More information is needed before anyone of the Wiccan comminity would be able to help you. First being why the curse was placed. Who placed it. How was it placed.
There are sites online in which you can find whys to break spells, why have you not done so yet?
You probably don't need a witch to break it...you can probably do it yourself. Go to http://ladyoftheearth.com in the spells section and find the spell to break a spell.
If that doesn't work, then you will need a witch to break the curse. It wil need to be done in person. Go to http://witchvox.com and look up the witches in your area. You will find one will I am sure. Most are always willing to help someone in need.
And don't listen to the Christians...if its a real curse, prayer won't cure it. As I am sure you have already found by now. As I am betting you have tried prayer already. That is why you are asking for help here.

A generational curse only exists in the minds of warped people. Every one who will tell you that you are the product of a generational curse will tell you that witches curses do not exist and there is no such thing as a curse except the ones that they want. They do not exist. Much like purgatory and limbo and many other things the chuch made up.

I have heard of generational curses only in the context of Christianity. If you believe you are cursed than I suppose you can make your own bad luck. I would say you should just not dwell on it and forget about it. You are not cursed in any way. If you are a religious person than that could help you. Just ask for forgiveness for whatever you think is binding you and holding you back. I also suppose that in a Christian context if you have a relationship with Jesus than all generational curses would be broken anyway. Good Luck.

The sins of the father clause, I don't believe it. I think the generational curse occurs when the child learns evil from the father and acts in evil ways themselves. An evil child will teach his/her children to be evil, thus continuing the curse. Be a good person and teach your children to be good people and you can break the curse.

By sincere faith in Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, prayer and good knowledge of the Bible and who you are as a child of God. Jesus came to break the curse of the law of sin and death, but you have to believe that and confess it! I have a problem in this area as well but I read a book called "Breaking Generational Curses," or something very similar to that and I think it was by Joyce Meyers. It goes into detail about different kinds of curses, their causes and the scriptures to meditate on/confess in order to be free. Good luck to you and God Bless You!

The sins of the father are visited upon the sons.....look at this. Be realistic. IS it the "punishment" that is moved on? Or is it the actual act/sin that is generational. It is really easy to see this. An alcoholic father is 70% more likely to produce an alcoholic son. These sins are not mandatory. It is your life and choice. Ask for what you believe.
