My friend recently bought a used beater of a car and it came with a nice head unit but without a faceplate. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement faceplate for this head unit? Thanks.

Sounds like the original was stolen?
The easiest way would be to contact Panasonic
or you can buy a new one for really nothing anymore.

You can get a decent MP3/cd player for around $75. Buying a new unit would be more convenient.
