the body and at the girl inside? Or do they just see the body with it's flaws and it's good points and make a choice based on that?

So what if the body isn't perfect? What if there are some, shall we say, defects? Does she still have a chance?

For me beauty comes from within. If you feel beautiful and have a great personality, it will show. Guys will be able to see your confidence not ********* which is what is most attractive. You can have a perfect body and be a total b..... and no guy likes that.

Some of these answers are just pathetic. Guys really need to learn how to look past body and get to know a girl. Luckily, I have been blessed with a decent figure and face and a I have a great personality that seems to attract guys. What I can't understand is this......women will love a guy if they get a fricken beer belly or get fat and sloppy and lazy because that's what unconditional love is.....why can't guys give women the same respect.

I agree with an answer above that your outside reflects how well you take care of yourself, but there are good people out there that have bad genes and that makes it hard for them to always be super skinny. If a guy doesn't get to know you for you, they aren't worth the air we all breathe.

Your a female and your common female sense should be able to answer this one. your body is the first thing that everyone sees. Guys just take to it more than others. Common sense, their guys! On the other hand weather or not they take the time and opputunity in getting to know that there is more past your body is them all on their own, although now a days you wont find many of them. But when you do put aside all of you thoughts that they may have and give them a chance based off of who they really are because you never know the one for you may be the one right next to you.

There are many answers to your question because each person is different. But I can tell you for sure, that in general, most young guys will be looking for a hot body to have fun with, while more mature guys will start looking for much more than just a good body and cute face.

And don’t think this is just us guys. You girls also do the same, not as much as us, but you do, and worse, once you girls are really mature, you like even better to look at a good hot guy’s body.

This is normal and part of our lives, we just need to understand it, and deal with it. I can tell you what I look in woman for example: honesty, good feelings, nice personality (at least to my own taste), motivated and smart. As you can see, I don’t care much about looks, but is ok, because when a woman (or anybody) has those qualities together, is for sure she will take care of her health, and of course, she is going to have a good body, and be in shape.

Note that being in shape and having a good body doesn’t mean you have all those qualities, so be careful.

And if you wonder, I found her, and being together for 10 years :)

So either way I answer I am a liar or a jerk! I work with 20 beautiful girls almost every day. They are great to look at, but not much for personality. The younger the guy is the more he notices the parts you have, the more mature he becomes, the more he realizes your heart! Don't give up on us just because there are some jerks out there! I see all kinds of girls and I like the ones who smile...........everything else is just extra!

if there is a guy of quality that has half a brain he will look passed the physical and connect with you on a more in depth perspective. This is what makes a relationship more appealing and exciting (even for the physical part of the relationship).

The first thing they are going to see and react to is the body. Unless he has been getting a lot of sex lately and then he will look more to what is inside. After they get over the body most men will look at the girl inside, but biology is a tough one to overcome.

well sweetie here it is depending on age range and what kind of guy you are talking about, it can basically go yes or no ok the yes is there are some young men that do look past outside apperance and flaws and focus on the women you are or can be. then there are others that just look at the pretty face a nice smile and bit assets if you get my meaning. if you land one of those through his butt back in the water and look for a true man who will look at you for you are and wont be staring at your goods hope you find what you are looking for he is out there just be patient ok

It is a horrible fact but nature has turned men into pigs. The first thing we notice is a figure. As bad as it sounds it is true. We are meant to procreate first and raise a family second. Do not be offended if a man notices your boobs faster than your smile. We must get to know you in order to like you as a person.

Outward appearance is what may initially attract a guy but the type of person a woman is on the inside is what will keep him around and what he may eventually fall in love with.
