Dear Knight
I don't believe for a minute that Jesus expects you to continue with your job if you are feeling this much pressure. Take a break.
The very best way to spread Jesus' love is to love others. Show love, speak love, give love. Relax for awhile. Pray. Rest in Him and regroup.
blessings :)

Faith is not blind you have to read books
FAQ: What books are in the Word and what are apocrypha?
"The books of the Word are all those which have the internal sense; but those books which have not the internal sense, are not the Word. The books of the Word, in the Old Testament, are the five Books of Moses, the Book of Joshua, the Book of Judges, the two Books of Samuel, the two Books of Kings, the Psalms of David, the Prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi: and in the New Testament, the four Evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John; and the Apocalypse. The rest have not the internal sense" (Arcana Coelestia n. 10325 or Heavenly Doctrine n. 266).
FAQ: Why different testaments and books in the Word?
"As regards the Word particularly, it has existed in every age, though not the Word we possess at the present day. Another Word existed in the Most Ancient Church before the Flood, and yet another Word in the Ancient Church after the Flood. Then came the Word written through Moses and the Prophets in the Jewish Church, and finally the Word written through the Evangelists in the new Church. The reason why the Word has existed in every age is that by means of the Word there is a communication between heaven and earth, and also that the Word deals with goodness and truth, by which a person is enabled to live in eternal happiness. In the internal sense therefore the Lord alone is the subject, for all goodness and truth are derived from Him" (Arcana Coelestia n. 2895).

Well leave the bottle alone. You sound like a new Christian that's been trying too hard. You only have to share your experience as you go your way in life. God does the converting. Tell the gospel and leave the rest to God. Don't be pushy or a pest. You are the best witness by the way you live and treat others. Be kind and loving. And someone should have told you ..... you will be rejected and persecuted ....just be sure it's because of Jesus and not because you personally offend someone. Being a Christian is not for sissies. You need a little guidance and support if your gonna get on here.....some of these folks are merciless... Get with your pastor, or some more experienced Christian and share your frustrations. And pray, pray, pray for direction from God. It's best to just be yourself, take it slow and easy, take your que from the one you want to witness to. I pray for your success and a new energy for sharing. God bless your every effort.

Do the honorable thing and keep to your own values. There are millions of people in this world and you're not going to change their minds one way or the other. People will do what they please and what pleases them.
If someone asks me my opinion (just as I'm doing here on Y/A right now) I give it to them the way '' I " see it. Preaching to people that 'this is evil' and 'that is evil' gets old after a while. There are a few things I don't believe in my religion. I'm catholic.
Seven deadly sins? Forget about them. We have ten commandments and that's all you should worry about. Who the hell dreamed up seven more?
Confession? No, it's a crutch. Most of the people who go to confession on Saturday and take the host on Sunday are right back with 'little Jenny Rotten Pants' the very next day.
Masturbation? No sin. As a matter of fact its been proven that men who do this at least 10 times a month have a better chance of not getting prostate cancer. Show me one person who said they never did this and I'll show you a liar.
Porn? Where in the commandments does it say not to look at pronography? Once again, forget the seven deadlies.
If you want to spread something, then spread a bit of love for your family, both immediate and others. Be good at a lot of things, but be excellent at one:
Minding your own business.
Good Luck!

Jesus said the salvation message will not be universally popular. I think in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Northern England people quite like opinions stated directly. But I now live in southern England and its all a bit PC here.
We are a pretty arrogant culture at the moment, which also makes it tougher since when people are proud they don't like admitting need.
You can read about great evangelists if you want some inspiration.
I must say I am surprised by the strength of some non-christians' adherence to the beliefs they are under. But once one has tasted of heavenly things (not whiskey) one is not going to stray.

It's great that you're trying to convert people, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Of course you're going to get persecuted, Jesus said so himself. Never give up faith. Jesus said that Christians would be the most persecuted (I always get persecuted and prosecuted mixed up!). He also said that you should do your best and try to bring people to the light. Don't think everyone is just going to change all of a sudden. In fact, most people will be infuriated! But a Christian's gotta do what a Christian's gotta do. If you're a true Christian and you follow Jehovah, then you're going to have to learn how to deal with persecution.
I will be praying for you♥

The bottle you speak of does not contain the kind of spirits you need. I have had similar feelings. Only not as extreme. God once said that to do as you suggest about the bottle is the same as a dog returning to his vomit. Don't do it. You have to understand that Satan IS on the attack big time because he knows his time is getting shorter. And the R&S is his venue , his turf. Develop a thicker skin and don't get too emotional. I don't suspect that I will convert anyone . But at least at judgement day they can't say they wern't told !!! And above all remember that Christ once said "when the world hates you remember then that it hated ME first.

I can understand that once you feel God’s amazing love you want to share it with absolutely everybody. But here’s the problem. People must DESIRE to hear before they WILL hear.
I truly believe that a better way is to simply live the message of Christ, and let that speak for itself.
I’ll try to explain what I mean.
Yesterday while working at the food distribution at my church I was talking with an older lady who has been very ill and is also the only caretaker for her grandchildren. We gave her food and clothing for the children and I just listened while she told me about everything she’s bee going through. I finally told her that I wish there was more I could do, but at least I could keep her and her grandchildren in my prayers.
She threw her arms around me and thanked me.
Now consider the difference. I didn’t say I’ll pray for your soul and pray that you don’t go to hell. I said, I’ll listen and I’ll pray for your family. This seemed to mean a lot to her and I hope it helped a little that we shared a little food and a hug. I firmly believe that hugs carry far more power than sermons.
You will certainly become frustrated if you try to convert people who have no desire to be converted. I don’t believe we’re supposed to do that to ourselves or to them. What we are called to do is love. If you are serous about changing lives, please consider what I’m saying.

I feel like maybe you are taking on too much responsibility. You are saying that you are trying to convert.
Perhaps the truth is that people who are willing really convert themselves.
Give yourself a break and know that you are only human and so are your prospective convertees.
You sound as if the weight of the world is on your shoulders. You are only one person, doing the best you can. Let God pick up the slack.

Remember it is not you that they attack it is Jesus the one that lives within you. Millions have been prosecuted for Jesus. In Roman times many were killed, the Roman Catholics through the ages martyred many true followers of Christ. It happens today as well. Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus kill christian daily for their beliefs.
We to here face the same thing but instead of violence we face ridicule and rejection. Remember it is not you that "Converts" them it is the Holy spirit that Convicts them. All we can do is tell them about Jesus and Pray. The decision lies with them.
As far as going back to the whiskey. You need to seek God's will. Find a mentor that will help you grow in your faith.

If you feel that bad about not converting everyone you can stop trying. Sometimes God is not done working on us, and we have to get it right. If the bottle is looking that good you need to stop worrying about others and get right yourself with God. satan always goes after those wanting to spread the word. You have to be very self assured in the Lord to pull it off. Go back to reading the Bible and studying it, Pray and ask for wisdom on who you should talk to and ask God what He would have you say. Go from there.
