Besides dog food, what can I feed my rottweiller pup which is two months old? I've had him for three days and I have fed him Purina One puppy food for three days and he regurgitates it whithin a few hours. Please help!

dry food expands in the belly after they drink water so it becomes an overfill problem; be sure to keep an eye on the growing number of dog food recalls www.howl911.com; you can sign up for email alerts when new foods added; try to reduce the volume of dry food to adjust to what his belly can hold and just feed smaller meal more frequently instead of 3 times, say four smaller meals; it is normal ; put some dog food in with water and you will see how big it expands ; it does the same in pup's belly when he drinks water afterwards

try moistening the food a little. your puppy may be throwing up because he's too young to digest the pieces yet. you could also try giving him canned food, but only til he's old enough to handle dry dog food, which is better for his teeth.

Did you get them from a breeder? Call the breeder and ask what they recommend. If they came for a source with no knowlege of their background (pet store, or pound) thake them to the vet.

try another brand of dog food what were they feeding before you got him. if you change their diet it can make tem sick. or he could be eating too fast.
