Since it's really just there to promote her movie that's coming out soon? I couldn't help but notice the advertisements looming all over the page when you click on the question.
Reminds me of the "I've got an answer for your question... now check out my geocities page" spammers.

There were plenty of protests for that particular war back home. I can see no valid reason for her to actually go to Vietnam to speak to the enemy.

While she was there they took her to a prison vacility where she actually met with American POW's who had been cleaned up. She then read off questions that were given to her by Vietnamese personnel, and she did so in front of the news media in an effort to assist the enemy's propaganda and play up the anti-war movement back home. If that isnt consorting with the enemy and assisting in the enemy's war effort I dont know what is.

I dont blame the Vietnamese for this, they couldnt win on the field so I guess they knew that they only way to win was to play up the American anti-war effort, if Jane Fonda was going to help them then I guess they figured they should use her.

The bottom line is that she was an American, and we had personnel in the field fighting the enemy and she assisted them.

Why she was not subject to the criminal justice system I dont know. I can only guess that since it was not a declared war then somehow she got away with it.

She consorted with the enemy, bottom line. Her actions were traitorous, if she didnt agree with the war then she should have used her right to free speech back home and engaged in the voting process, not consort with the enemy.

Every Vietnam vet I know hates her, even the ones who didnt agree with the war.

The fact that she is free walking around, and has never paid for what she did disgusts me.
