I just got flagged for answering a question like this:

Answer: what???

WOW, now that is offensive isn't it. I must have broke all sorts of guidlines... my other question is... who is the loser that flagged that?

I've had that happen to me too. It really "frosts my cookies" when that happens. I've had a couple of accounts "deactivated" when I did nothing wrong. Deactivation is done based on their "sole discretion."

BUT, when people post racist and insulting comments, they are fine (hint: Antis Suck, Victor Nunez, Psi Chi, etc....) These people usually have all thumbs down ratings, especially Anti & Psi.

Why don't they go pick on the real abusers (hint: Anti, Victor, Psi) and leave us, crazy people that like to discuss things, alone!

No they don't look and they don't care.I think people give a thumbs down at random without a reason because there have been times when I gave a definition out of the dictionary and nothing else and got a thumbs down for it.
It's sort of like people who wet toilet paper and throws it onto the bathroom ceiling so it sticks or they do something just as stupid
They just want to do something out of sheer ignorance to irritate others.
And Yahoo could care less anout this little forum. We're lucky to have it.I predict in the future sites like this will become a thing of the past as big brother won't want us communicating with one another.
And they'll blame it on abuse but that won't be the real reason.
Some of my best answers have been removed and I wonder if it's because the person who flagged it doesn't like truth and only approves of lies and deceits.
But I'd like to know who they are that does this.So I could do it to them.

No they don't. They do it if they get enough flags. I had one in particular that was removed for no good reason and they have yet to tell me that it wasn't in violation of the TOS.

that's dumb.
there is a "violation" forum you can appeal to or you can contact customer care.

yeah, things around here are getting tricky.

i had an answer deleted b/c someone asked about credit card debt and i told them about a program i was in and i gave her the name and # of my contact b/c she enrolled with them then i'd get a $100 gift card.

it got booted b/c i soliciting...even though she was asking about credit card debt!!!
i was soooo pissed!

yahoo can care less, I think they are crazy, people always report you because they don't like your answers, i can care less, i'm still going to answer questions how I feel, it's not like your winning any money on yahoo for getting a lot of points, so who cares

Reported.

HAHAHAHA. Actually, I've had several like that deleted. I don't think they actually review the question. I've emailed them and always get the same stock reply back when I protest it.
