Because they're pretty and it takes some aforethought for a man to send them. Personally although I think they're pretty, I'd rather have something else because of allergies but anything you do to show that you took the time to think of your signifigant other and that you appreciate her is great. Flowers is but one option. ;-)

its the thought that counts. they smell good and look good. and they are a representation of love. i would choose flowers over anything anyday (a gift from a guy)
