I think a good time is when your child can sleep through the entire night without waking up once. If your child has to have a pacifier at night, she should be able to wake up and find it herself and go back to sleep.
I definitely wouldn't let her stay in your room past 12-18 months though.
I have 3 children and we moved them into their own rooms right at their first birthday. If you keep your child in your room for too long, it can start to affect your relationship with your husband. (Especially if you don't want to have sex with her in the room). Also, when she's in your room, if she wakes up at night and sees you, she's going to want you. You might want to just try putting her in another room, and giving it a week to see how she does.
Good luck!

My older 2 have been the two of their very own rooms by 6 months and the transition grew to become into relatively elementary. I moved the cot, placed them in there and by no potential appeared back. whether, my 10 month previous remains in with us. the reality that his mattress room remains a breeze block shell with out a roof has plenty to do with this nonetheless :) i think of the 1st element you will ought to do is see him dozing interior the process the whole night in his very own mattress. If he's used to waking, seeing then you getting a cuddle, waking on his very own in his very own room ought to no longer bypass down nicely. could it somewhat is too lots of a soreness to go the cot to his room for his daylight hours naps yet shop him with you at night? That way he gets used to dozing there.

NOW!
Teething and crying is no excuse because you're too lazt to walk into a different room to check on her.
If you get her accustomed to sleeping with you now, you're going to have HELL getting her to sleep on her own later. Then you'll be another one of those terrible, crying moms on Nanny 9-1-1 because you are too lazy to parent.
