You can register for lots of different things. Think about what you will need for your kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. You can even register for a honeymoon (I am assuming you mean a wedding registry).

My husband and selected 3 places to register. One had mostly fine and everyday china; the other kitchen gadgets and accesories; and the third was for powers tools and such.

For what? A baby? Just put anything in the baby deparntment you may need on there, and dont forget diapers!

For a wedding? Anything that you may want or need for setting up house. I saw on Martha Stewart that the number one requested item on a bridal registry is a stand mixer.

God luck!

You can register for anything pertaining to:

-Bedding (sheets, blankets, duvets, down comforters, pillows, mattress pads, etc.)
-Bath (towels, robes, bath rugs, trash cans, soap dishes, etc.)
-Housewares (espresso machines, pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.)
-Tabletop (fine china, casual china, flatware, glassware, vases, picture frames, etc.)
-Luggage

You can register at a variety of places such as Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Pottery Barn, Target, Tiffany and Co....whichever place suits your style. Most places often offer you a discount (10%-15%) for completing your registry after the wedding (which means buying everything you didn't receive as gifts). And it helps to keep in mind the price range of your guests when you are registering.

Good luck!
