I am fit everywhere, but I hate my stomach. I go to the gym approx. 4-5 weekly and lift light weights and do cardio. I can't seem to lose this pouch. I know people say it is diet related, but I can't cut carbs....I get so shaky and grouchy. Any food ideas or anyone else have success with losing the stomach pouch?

You don't have to cut carbs...just reduce them. Try eating wheat and bran products instead of flour and rice.
Also, fruits and veggies are always great!
Be sure to do exercises that work not only your stomach muscles, but your whole core.

there is no specific food to help spot reduce body fat. overall weight (fat) loss is the only way to get rid of your belly find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose. eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism) 5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day 8 glasses of water have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily. ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:) do not do situps because they only build muscle, they dont burn any fat and will make your belly look bigger since there is gona be more muscle underneath the layer of fat.

People rarely have extra fat on their body because of what they eat but rather how much they eat. Try cutting back just a little on sweets (non-diet soda especially) is a good idea because those are empty calories (little or no nutritional value). Unfortunately if that doesn't work you may never get the pouch to leave because your genes play a part in determining where your body stores fat.

Eat small portions every 2 to 3 hours. You can eat whatever you want but try to cut out sodas or sugary, fatty things [drinking wise]. Also, only eat when you are hungry. Don't go for seconds and don't buy desserts. Like I said, every two to three hours and SMALL portions.

you don't neccessarily have to cut carbs but you shouldn't be eating processed carbs on a regular basis. the majority of the carb intake (80%) should be from low GI sources like whole oats, lentils, beans, barley, etc.

also you need to turn up the intensity of your training and 86 training with light weights. training with light weights is not optimum for fat loss. if you don't push yourself when training don't expect your body to change much
