I am having a pig roast. They really are not that expensive. But corn bread, biscuts(home made of course....I have a great southern recipe if you need it email me), grilled corn, home made salsa (make this the day before so it is easier and the flavors will blend in together) SWEET TEA a must! We are having a baked potatoe bar. Good luck they are a lot of fun because it is so relaxed!

Either go rotisserie chicken or marinated and basted pieces. For pork, skewers would probably be your best bet, with dipping sauces, or kebabs. Sounds great to have a BBQ!
(Oh, I wish I could be at "TX"'s dinner! OMG roast pig AND a baked potato bar - I'd be in heaven! That's just awesome!)

My cousin did that and he gave the guests their choice of chicken breasts or beef on the BBQ. I don't really remember the chicken, bu the beef was this HUGE brisket type chunk of meat that roasted on the grill for a couple hours and they occasionally doused it in beer. It was DELICIOUS!

I would suggest using the top sauce on this page to marinade the chicken in before hand. http://www.dinosaurbarbque.com/browseProducts.php?cat=1
or if you want a more vinegar based sauce, use
http://www.citymade.com/madeinbuffalo/prodinfo.asp?number=CHI-30071
Both are very awesome. AWESOME awesome.

wow a backyard BBQ wedding...I mean my parents used to joke about it when I was young but I never thought anyone actually had them.
My suggestion is BBQ the pork and chicken and "PUT SOME KETCHUP ON IT" LOL
