Gretna Green in Scotland is historically a very popular place to elope to.
It started in 1753 when a marriage act was passed in England that stated people were only allowed to get married without parental consent if they were over the age of 21, this was not the case in Scotland where you could get married at 14 if you were a boy and 12 if you were a girl without parental consent! How scarey is that!!!
Gretna Green became popular for English couples as it was the first place over the boarder where they could get married.
You could follow in the footsteps of many elopers by marrying in Gretna Green.

All of the above are good suggestions, just make sure you know their marriage policies before you commit. Some places don't have a no wait policy and you actually have to be at your destination a certain amount of days or weeks before they will allow you to get married there.
