You can, however, go to www.tripadvisor.com type in your hotel name and it will bring up HUNDREDS of reviews from travelers with pictures & everything. There ar forums on there also where you can post this question & get answers from previous guests of the resort. HAVE FUN! There are NO CONS! :) Here's a direct link -

be sure to click on "Candid Traveler Photos" too so you can see what the resort REALLY looks like

It looks absolutely beautiful!!
I took a look at their free wedding packages, and that's quite a deal!
I would make sure I talk to someone at the resort regarding the marriage certificate and the marriage certificate requirements, last I read you needed to have a blood test done in Mexico and there was a 3 day waiting period for the marriage license.
Just make sure you receive all the information you need to be confident all your ducks are in a row.
There is always the option of getting married here in the states by a Justice of the Peace, or a simple ceremony and then taking your honeymoon there and not having to worry about the marraige license requirements.

Contrary to the last persons advice. i'm from Mexico, Mexico City to be precise and pople in Mexico are xtremely warm and friendly towards tourists. Ppl need to stop judging places and ppl based on news casts.
On the other hand, I am getting married in the States this June and I was going to get married in Mexico as well however it has a lot of paperwork involved. your best bet is to call the MEXICAN EMBASSY in the States and ask what are the requirements you need to complete BEFORE you get there.I have no clue where you live but there are embassies in Detroit, washington, chicago, LA. I found this website with the mexican consulates in major cities of USA http://www.mexonline.com/consulate.htm
ALSO! In Mexico you have to specify how you will mantain your "goods" as a couple, kinda like signing a prenup.
Hope this helped.
COngratulations!

I took a great vacation in Mexico (drove down the west coast to Mazatlan). It was wonderful - the people, the weather, the food, everything! IPlus - I always felt safe. As long as you are careful (just like anywhere else you are vacationing) things will be fine. I think a wedding in Mexico sounds great! Congrats!

Haven't been to that resort, but there is a big problem with tourists being assaulted and/or killed in Mexico - sorry about mentioning a downer! Check with the State Dept. for any travel advisories.

It's beautiful.... and HOT !!!! Are you sure your guests can pay for a destination wedding? Not everyone can afford air fare and hotel costs at a resort. Also, have you made plans for their entertainment while they are there? I assume most who do make the trip will be there for at least two nights.

Weddings in Mexico are recognized in the USA, the hardest part of getting married there is the paperwork you have to get together.
It's a great time...enjoy

The area is certainly beautiful....however it is VERY HOT! and your guests may be a little uncomfortable....it is also a HUGE bunch of red tape to get a marriage license, that all has to be done way in advance!!!!
It would be just a nice to marry in Key west or California and ALOT less hassle!!!!

I'm personally afraid to go to Mexico because of all the recent beatings/murders of Canadian/American tourists in the last year or so (some right on resorts too). I don't think i'll ever go to Mexico and i wouldn't suggest anyone else doing it. Sorry.

you have gotten it at my living house, this is approximately as all-inclusive as you may get. secure in this stunning kit is a nagging spouse, a lazy son, 3 canines, a sink crammed with grimy dishes and a backyard that desires a mowing. fascinated approximately in basic terms 3.ninety 5 bajillion money.
