I'm from Argentina:
1- I haven't visited it yet. But Brazil it's famous for its Carnival, beaches, the Amazon, Xuxa, Airton Senna, the five football soccer world championship you won, the favelas, the happiness of the people.
2-As I told you in my first answer I haven't been there yet, but of couse I would like to go there to visit some of the spectacular beaches you have and the 'garotas' of course.
3- Yellow and green, the colours of your flag.
4- The tucan.
5- I would like to see Rio de Janeiro from the top of the Corcovado, walk along Copacabana beach and go dancing on the beach.
6- I think it's coffee, cocoa, clothes, shoes, caipirinha and turism offers.
7- Positives: people looks always happy, the possibility to visit the beach every season of the year. Negatives: the poverty, the favelas and the violence which it's getting also stronger here in Argentina.

Axlrose Rio de Janeiro isn't the capital of Brazil, Brasilia is it.

I am a female, in my mid 30s and live in the U.S.

1. My mother visited Brazil in the 80s. I was a pre-teen. Her friend in Brazil owned a bean factory. They had maids. Crime was high. I have also heard that there are children who roam the streets and are killed by police.

5. I would like to try the coffee there. i don't like coffee, but I hear it is very strong. I'd like to see the beaches and the cathedrals. I'd like to see Rio and maybe see part of Carnival.

6. I don't know - coffee???

7. I hear the poverty rate is high, inflation is high and there is a big gap between the rich and the poor. I think it is positive that Brazil has retained its national heritage by continuing to speak Portuguese when the rest of the continent speaks Spanish.

I hope my mother's friends are still there and they are prosperous (mother died in 1996).

Good luck! :)
