I'm a hairstylist. You could, but you'd want to make sure to tell the stylist EXACTLY what product you used, as some do it yourself colors contain ingredients that aren't safe with some salon quality products.

Your stylist also may want to make your color better, or change the tone so that it looked it's best. Call the salon, tell them exactly what you did, and ask for a stylist that can touch up the color- they will want to make sure they book enough time.

If you used a product with metallic dyes, your stylist may want to preform a "patch test" on a strand of your hair to see how it will react. Most likely, the color you used will be safe.

I've done it before, a good color specialist will be able to find a match to your current hair color. My old hair dresser was an expert, ask around to find someone with a good reputation. It might be helpful to record what kind of at home hair color you used: the brand, shade, and code. It will make the colorist's job a lot easier.

If you go to a colorist that has the skill to match color then it shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you go to someone who has experience in color matching. Also, stay with one stylist, If you go to a different styist everytime you want your roots done you may get banding.

Just make sure to tell them what you used (better if you can remember the brand and number) and that you did it yourself. A good salon should be able to approximate the color and do some tricks to help the new color blend in.

Yes a hair salon can match any color especially a salon that specializes in color like Hair color xperts. if you don't want to pay the price just get the same box color and do it your self.
