Here is what I teach my patients:
1) the number one cause of tooth decay, in this country, is liquid sugar.
2) liquid sugar is: pop, juice, flavored waters, sports drinks, Kool-aid, etc.
3) try to drink water, milk, tea, coffee, or anything that is sweet ed artificially. The best artificial sweetener is sucrolose, (Splenda). It is made from sugar but does not promote tooth decay.
4) remember that milk is about 40% sugar! You MUST rinse your mouth with water after drinking milk if you are not going to have time to brush your teeth.
5) coffee and tea should not have sugar in them.
I hope this helps. Dentist are currently SHOCKED that our citizens seem hell bent on destroying their teeth with liquid sugar!!!
PS: of course, candy, mints, cough drops, cookies, etc. are also high in sugar

Most likely, tea. Juice can stain your teeth, soda has an over-abundance of sugar (which is a dental catastrophe!), but tea seems fine to me. Especially green tea, because it's rich with antioxidants :)

My first suggestion is water but since you have no desire to drink that all day my second suggestion would be tea. Since both juice and soda are loaded with sugar.

Stay w/ water and add some lemon drops for taste! OR drink what u want and use a straw to reduce the soda's or juice's contact with the teeth.
Exposing teeth to soft drinks, even for a short period of time, causes dental erosion--and prolonged exposure can lead to significant loss of tooth enamel. Diet sodas are just as bad for your teeth as sugared sodas. And while non-cola beverages are less acidic than colas, they are particularly nasty on teeth because they are loaded with citric acid, something that is very corrosive to tooth enamel

Diet soda works...especially if you drink diet Sprite or something similar since the colas can stain your teeth.
Also, you can continue to drink water, but chew some sugar-free gum which will give some flavor. :-)

all the choices you mention are potentially damaging to your teeth. I would recommend you drink what you want, but be sure to brush your teeth or at least use mouthwash after you have finished.
