whats the average skin cell turnover time?

28 days....even though we are shedding skin all the time it takes 28 days for a skin cell to be created die, move to the surface and then be pushed off the body.

It depends you have dead skin on your face and body so it is how you go about getting it off and using better things to generate new healthy (healthier) cells.
If you exfoliate - or do a deep cleaning mask this happens faster
