Hey everyone! I am doing a project in my foods class about diets. My diet is Jenny Craig and I was wondering if anyone had any information on the diet.

With Adkins you eat little carbs and a lot of protein. So what is Jenny Craigs theory? Anyone with help would be wonderful.

I tried the website but i think you need an account to look at the info.

Thanks again

Hi. JC is really an expensive version of Weight Watchers because you purchase their food. The reason it reminds me of Weight Watchers is that it is a diet BALANCED in fats, proteins, fruits, starches and allows the dieter to eat every few hours: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack(dessert). It is portion controlled and easy to follow. You can do a search on ediets.com on the web to get more info. I'm on it and love the food. It is expensive but...what drove me to JC was how out of control I was with food, which means I was spending a lot of money on eating out and junk food, so I don't spend more on JC than I did before when I was binging. So, check the web to search for diet comparisons and you will probably eventually get more detail on the ratio of proteins to starches to fats, etc.

It's a meal program based on a reduced calorie diet like weight watchers.

From my experience their diet is more about portion control and eating several smaller meals a day instead of three huge ones. They give you three small meals and snacks.
