Maybe it is just me but I am so sick of the clothes they make for our children today! I have a ten year old daughter and she goes to the daycare in the summer they take them to the city pool like three days a week. I only allow her to wear one piece bathing suits with the way soceity is today and the fact that she is so young! I went to every store in my town and could not find one so I then went to the mall about a hour away! I got there and they only had two one piece bathing suites! I was able to get her one but we go through this with all of her clothes it is like they expect our kids to dress trashy! With all the sickos out there now a days I think it is ridiculous our kids should be dressed properly and it shouldn't be so hard to find proper clothes for them!

Absolutely! I have complained about this for quite some time. The kids clothes are ridiculous. If they aren't too low at the top, they are too short. There are a lot of sick minds out there and who wants to send their children out in clothes that would attract such to them! If you sew, I suggest that you make clothes for your daughter. If you don't sew, maybe you could locate someone that does. I make a lot of clothes for my grand daughters because my daughter can't find decent clothes for them. Keep those standards up! It's worth the effort.

I can't find acceptable shoes for my toddler, it drives me INSANE. It has been proven that kids do best in the softest sole shoe possible or bare feet. And yet almost every shoe on the market for his sized feet is so hard he won't walk. He just stands and stares and then takes a step and cries. Even a doggy won't compel him to take more than a few steps.

And he has tall chubby feet so even if I wanted those shoes most stick out an inch or more past the end of his foot which is no good.

Robeeze and robeeze like shoes would be nice, but a) they aren't waterproof and b) they dont' fit the tallness of his foot. He is not the only chubby baby in the world.

It just drives me nuts that I can't find appropriate footwear so I either have to learn to sew my own, or pay to have someone make them. He just barely fits a 24 month which is the last size of cloth bootie available.

The trashy clothes, yes. Children definately need to be able to express themselves, but not when the two-peice swimsuits look like they do. My little cousin came to my house wearing a brown shirt, short pink skirt that showed through, AND blew up when the wind would go by, and these boots. I made her go back home and change.

But some little kid clothes are cute, like the little easter dresses and stuff. x3

I found a site where you could buy them in adult sizes, but my mom said it was for people that like to dress like kids during sex. o_O

I'm sick of all the clothes young women wear. I think sexualizing yourself in everyday public settings is not good. There are times when it's okay to look sexy, but this everyday trashy look is not as attractive as these young women seem to think it is. There are several websites that provide clothing alternatives.

Amen sista, I have a hard time buying clothes for my 9 year old. I dont think that it is proper for little girls to wear belly shirts or low cut jeans and that is all you can find now days. No wonder molestation rates are up and girls are getting pregnant at such young ages.

Bathing suit aside I buy all my children clothes at thrift store. I find the prices are right and the style fit my taste.

boys clothes are terrible too. Every t-shirt has a snotty slogan printed on it. I don't want a 5 yr old brat, thank you very much!!

If you want to find a modest swimsuit next year try lands end, they have lots of great suits to choose from.

I agree children should dress like children not adults. It's hard to find decent clothes for them.

I guess you don't have that much time, but I would suggest getting some nice patterns and making some yourself. I started (for myself) and it's much cheaper.
