pretty = 'schön' or 'hübsch' ('schon' means 'already', so the umlaut is important. If you can't write an umlaut, it should be spelled 'schoen')
As for 'recht', I'm guessing the online translators were translating 'pretty' meaning 'quite' e.g. "it's pretty difficult" instead of 'beautiful'. 'Ziemlich' also means 'quite', not 'attractive'. Yet another piece of evidence to show how useless online translators can be :-)
Another answerer has told you that 'schön' means 'nicely'. It's true that 'schön' can mean 'nicely'/'beautifully', but that isn't to say it doesn't mean 'beautiful' too. Often, adjectives and adverbs are exactly the same in German i.e.
Du schreibst so schön = you write so beautifully
Deine Handschrift ist schön = your handwriting is beautiful

'what is that' is said as 'Was ist das?'. The w is pronouced as a V, not a W.
I'm not certain of the word for pretty, but I think it might be schoen. (o should have a umlaut, but as i can't get one, the e is in it's place)

you say 'Was ist das?" the w is pronounces a v though, so it should sound like
vas ist das?
pretty, as in attractive, is ziemlich, the z is prounces like 'ts' and the ch is pronounced like 'sh' so it should sound like this

Note: pretty is not schön, because schön means nicely
