Listen I have heard about salmon going upstream against the odds to spawn. Could your doorstep be bird heaven? Have you seen any bird "spirits" hanging around? If you do tell them to go to the light.... Just kidding
Sounds like a great way to start your morning finding a dead bird carcass on your door. Sounds like it is cat leaving you something.
A friend of mine had a cat that must have worked out with weights or something because she left part of a dead deer carcass on her door step ( The deer must have been shot by a hunter and then found by her cat)
Just make sure you have a good alibi and dont' call the police...:)

Oh, that is a cat.
Cats bring birds, rabbits and mice to us as a gift.
Its the best present you can recieve from a cat. When you find out what cat is doing it dont yell at the cat, its a gift to you because the cat loves you.
I am a cat lover all my life. I had a cat that used to kill the mice then dump them in front of me all the time. I hated it, but yet i loved her for it. I would always pet her after she left it there.

Do you have a cat? It sounds like a cat loves ya and is leaving you "gifts".You might start to see mice, rabbits anything the cat can kill. Be happy :~)lol

Do you own a cat? Cause sounds like a cat is leaving you a "gift." Weird, but my cat does that every time he makes a "kill." It breaks my heart...but it's nature doing what nature does.

Do you have a glass door? They might crashing into it. Or, like everyone else is saying, either a cat is bringing you presents or there is a nest up above where you can't see it.

I don't know...do you have a cat? If you do maybe the cat is catching them and bringing them to show you. Otherwise, I just don't know, sorry.
