They all hurt a bit.
The one you're
talking about is
very simple. It will
only take a minute.

I got a tatoo on my inner wrist about 5-6 months ago (I am skinny as well, although i don't know how much extra skin anyone has on their wrist), and I am still obsessed with it. It was my first tattoo, and just like you, I was frantically searching the web for responses about how much it hurt. Honestly, I'm sure every experience is different, but don't worry about the pain. It felt more annoying than anything else, def. not intense pain. I want more tattoos, and obviously I wouldn't if the pain was that intense. At times, it hurt a teeeeeeensy bit more, and I assume that's because maybe it was going over a vein. But it was never unbearable...if you want the tattoo, don't worry about it -- just make sure the design is as perfect as it can be and the artist is a great one. Go for it! You will love it :)

Hey, don't listen to what others say. The truth is this: it will always hurt, but never that much. I can tell you, I had a tattoo done on my chest a couple of days ago, and it did hurt, but I managed to handle it.
Now, if you're getting your first tattoo on your wrist, It will be more painful than in fleshy areas, but not as painful as in the hips or chest.
So, it feels more like they were cutting your skin, as the needles enter a thousand times per second, but don't let that scare you! In a scale from 1 to 10 I would give it a 6.
Anyway, if while you're having your tattoo done it hurts too much, you can always ask for a little break, and have a glass of water, it will help you get more relaxed.
OK, I hope this was useful to you, and go for it!

Yes, it will hurt. All tattoos hurt to some degree.
I have a tattoo on my wrist and it hurt. But only for the 5-10 minutes it took the artist to do it. =)
My rule of thumb is when you're inking a sensitive area like wrists, hands, feet, neck, and spine, is to choose a simple design that doesn't take long.
The thinner the skin or the closer to your backbone you get, the more it will hurt.

You have a few needles puncturing your skin very fast and repeatedly. Its on your wrist, which has a nice little tendon running through it. This tendon doesnt like getting stabbed repeatedly, so it will hurt. Not unbearable, but yes, it hurts. How much you handle the pain, however, is up to you and your body. You should occupy yourself with something, like reading or focusing on a noise or picture, even laughing outloud during a painful spot can releive some of the pain. Dont worry. Youll be fine, and just remember.. pain is for now, ink is forever.

This is my advice to you. Don't think about the pain. This is what you really want. The pain is temporary the beauty for a lifetime. I'm into Linkin Park and so I just listen to some of there music when I get a tat... takes my mind of it... you should try listening to something you like. also in my opinion... my tat on the back of my neck hurt less than the one on my side that has more flesh.

Have no doubts. It will hurt. Whenever you get a tatoo on sensitive skin or close to bone, it's going to hurt. My answer is who cares. The pain lasts for such a short period of time and a tat lasts forever. If you really want it, deal with a few minutes of pain and enjoy.

Most tatoos do irritate the skin, so yes it does hurt. My friends brother was getting a very simple tatoo, and said that it hurt when they did the round parts on the skin. However, once you get it, a week later or so it should be fine.

Let's face it....a tattoo is a bunch of needles poking your skin at the same time...it will hurt!
You will be able to finish it without a problem but saying that it won't hurt is just wrong...any tattoo in any place of your body hurts...maybe just not as much!
Get it done! you will NOT regret it :)
