If you can go back in boxing history and pick a fighter from any division and put him in boxing's ranks today who would he be and would he dominate the division?
I would take Sugar Ray Robinson when he was a Welterweight. His dominence would be outstanding and would most definitely be an undisputed and undefeated champion.

Any other choices?

Pernell Whitaker. He would dominate from LW to WW. A fight against Floyd would be something special because you would actually see someone make Floyd look bad by outboxing him.

First of all to take Ali is a joke Buster Douglas could run through this Heavyweight division. I hate it that the Heavyweights are so weak.

I would take a Junior Middleweight Sugar Ray Leonard. I believe the Welterweight - Middleweight (147-160) divisions are the most competitive

With boxers like Floyd Mayweather, Kermit cintron, Jermain Taylor, Shane Mosely, Edison Miranda, Cory Spinks, Miguel Cotto, Travis Simms, Arthur Abraham. This has to be the most competition in any weight range. So I wouldn't want a boxer from any other weight range from the past because in general boxing is weak right now and getting weaker.

im a mass man so i got to go with the greatest heavy weight i dont care what any one says Rocky The Brockton Bomber Marciano
49-0 when he died he had fought a lot of great fighter and i think with the workouts and weight gainers of today he would have been a bigger monster and an undisputed champ
ali might be the greatest but marciano was the only heavy weight to finish undefeated

Ali. Ali was the greatest of all time, he literally was the most famous person on earth. He slugged it out with the other two greats, Foreman and Smokin' Joe Frazier. In his prime, he was an unstopable jugernaut that would bruise and batter any opponent to the ground.

Ali in his prime!

Speed, quickness, deceptiveness, willingness to win at all costs including taking opponents best punches and of course charisma. He modernized the sport of boxing and became a cultural icon for millions worldwide. God Gless the champ!
