Joh 3:17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Joh 3:20 "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
Joh 3:21 "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

We are all basically blind until we come to know God. Becoming a Christian for me was an eye opening experience and I see the whole world differently now. Bless you

It must be horrible to be so full or hatred all the time just because your book wont be taken as the truth. I thought that religion was about love, tolerance and all that stuff. In you it appears to promote hatred of people who are able to live their lives in the real world. Is that what's wrong with you - you are jealous that atheists can live and think for themselves and are not restricted to only being able to do what a book of nonsense and fear inducement tells them? I think it's really sad that you are like that - I'd give it up mate - it ain't doing much for your love of others - that's surely got to be a sending you to burn in hell offence?

Do you think if you are going to ask a question you could do it in your own words please.

It would actually mean something then, instead of pasting.

I know this much, i only saw the bible for what it really is after years of studying it.

Once i fully understood it i couldn't get over the dyke away from it quick enough.

My eyes are fully functional thank you, and i suppose i could thank the bible for that......

I am more than happy with the path i have chosen and i hold my head high as i walk it....

PS:: Galation::::How could a man rise from the dead and tell me anything, when they are 'supposed' to be up in 'HEAVEN'
haha!!!
In my psychic training i know what i have experienced and been told. You should try it. Honestly it would be a real eyeopener for you, believe me....

Many times on here I have questioned the motives of those who's posts ridicule Christians or those who believe in a god.

It is just as unfair to ridicule Atheism as it is to ridicule Christianity.

There is no argument to be won, there are no points to score.

You can read the bible from cover to cover and believe in its every word, or you can believe that when you die the lights go out and you're gone.

It really doesn't matter as long as you are happy with your personal outlook because at the end of the day nobody really knows anything - we are all just guessing.

The Blindness is bearing on the place it says in scripture some would be blinded, they are blinded via the hardness of there Hearts, spiritually not a lot with eyeballs!!, infact God intensifies some peoples blindness because of the fact of ways they despise the belief of what God stands for. And the full factor of our being examined with out seen evidence of god is to work out who might have faith and comprehend certainty for what it is and Satans Lies for what they are, in the direction of the top all shall see yet be constructive to work out till now then or be blind !!!

Religion was just a way for our forefathers to understand our world and how it worked.
Science is what we use now.

We still haven't worked everything out(and some are incapable of understanding) so some still cling to the past.
We will still have people believing in some great hidden power until we Do understand the universe.

For me it's enough to know this world is a beautiful and wonderful place to live, and everyone should treat everyone else with respect and kindness.
If everyone did this we wouldn't need "gods".

It must be wonderful to have the comfort you faith brings. I have three Christian friends whom I respect more than any other people I know. I have seen it can be a good code to live ones life by, that it can bring happiness and peace of heart.

I am guided by reason. It cast a cold and hard light on the world. It gives no comfort other than the knowledge that I will be honest with myself. That is way I am compelled to pursue it. Mine is a contented life.

I listen to each thing I hear, or try to with an honest heart. I haven't heard the calling you so clearly have.

I hope we can live in peace and with respect for one another.

But he who relied on one source for his research was surpassed by the may who bothered to pay attention to reality and the world around him. Just quoting the bible proves nothing mate. Hows this for a comeback -

The 'orrigional' bible was written approximately 350 years after 'christ's' supposed death by Roman scholars when the emperor of the time decided he needed an new religion to help stabalise and unite the empire. How can you rely on the veracity of what a bunch of quill-scrapers who had nothing to do with the supposed events portrayed in the new-testement? How I ask you? Because you belive? That makes you blind - blind-belief.

I'm not an atheist, but it galls me when fools quote scripture to make their point to folk who don't belive what they do. It's plain stupid is what it is.

Well I guess your right, Im converted! Thats it! With only a schpeel on Yahoo I have come to know the Lord! Halleua......hang on a minute.....you almost had me there....Oooh you're a wiley one!

The answer to your question, which, Im not entirely sure what you are asking and I think you are attempting to answer yourself, would depend on the legitimacy and real proof that your 'religion' and your book of stories is the truth. I challenge you show me that without quoting your innacurrate book or trying to place a modern view on 1000s of years of superstition...

how do you know you are not wearing blinders to keep you on a path your master wants you on? anyone can quote any number of writings (that man wrote) do Buddhists, Hindu, etc have the same thoughts about you? please be open to all and shut out none, wouldn't that really be the Christian way if it was correct. if there was emphatic evidence, why would a religion scare you into believing? Wouldnt they just show you the proof? or will you pull out the faith thing....? (as for Lauren T. ...,if you are going to try to impress folks with your Arabic knowledge, in sha Allah, is how its written and means if Allah wills it (for those who dont know)

we are all blind, excuse them for not believing in something that has no proof. in most cases neither would you. they think logically, and as soon as you realize that, your witnessing will take a new progressive direction. they could easily say you are blind and have way more proof than you. so don't insult people who are used to making decisions based on visible data, they will make you look as a fool.

do not speak in the presence of fools because your wisdom will not fall on their ears.

stop hating, we are Christians, we love, not hate, so love, even the non believer, so as not to be cast into hell for hatred along with them for not believing
