I have to write a thank you letter for my teacher that filled out a recommendation letter, what do I write.?

Just write a couple of sentences, from the heart. Say something like, Dear _________, I really appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to write my recommendation letter. I know it will help me greatly in my college application process. Many thanks, ________"

Here is another website (from Virginia Tech) that shows you how to write thank you notes in a more business setting. this website is also VERY helpful for writing resume cover letters, followup interview letters etc. Save it I promise you that it will come in handy later.
