Yes, you're right. God doesn't like conservative Christians. Either that, or the south is His new Job, and He's testing them to see their faith.

some human beings say that it really is the judgment or wrath of God, yet I disagree. it really is merely the area of the land. The Bible Belt is a wierd position climate wise. The fronts that come by her produce tremendous storms that do spawn torandos. we also are on the sea coast and that is the nice and comfortable temperature water of the Gulf of Mexico is the birthplace of hurricanes quite. The Mississippi river floods on a customary foundation because it really is merely the way it really is. If the snow in the north melts too straight away, it really is going to flood down right here. about the in hassle-free words project that we do not get is an earthquake, or maybe that takes position in a small scale because there's a faultline that runs close to Memphis, TN. it really is merely an atypical position.

Climate. And the conservative beliefs stem from the South be historically isolated. I am Southern so I know this. Life is very hard here and precarious.
And yes, other places have disasters, we just have spectacular ones. For example, Katrina struck on the full moon at high tide and the Gulf Of Mexico is very shallow in the area she came ashore. Add this up to a true horror...
I live where the eye wall of Katrina came through, this happens here.

I live in the "bible belt" solidly atheist. Are hurricanes and tornadoes the only natural disasters?I think those particular are predominant as you said, because of location. What about earthquakes for California?Mudslides? Tsunami's for the Muslims. Natural disasters are just what the name implies, natural. While I may get hit with a severe storm,I'm not to worried about earthquakes and tsunamis

I'm not sure what you're talking about...
Earthquakes in California.
Volcanic eruptions in Oregon/Washington.
Tsunamis and Typhoons in Hawaii.
Floods in Pennsylvania.
Blizzards in New York.
Forest fires in Colorado (but not Utah)
Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts.
Check your facts, I don't think any part of the country has a monopoly on disasters. There's plenty for everyone.
