I have 4 choices: Canon IXUS 850IS, Canon IXUS 900TI, Canon IXUS 75 or a Sony Cybershot DSC-T100. The first one seems to offer a lot of features. The second has a very high resolution, so i assume image quality is excellent but it doesn't have image stabilization. The third one doesn't have most of the features but i like the 3.0" LCD screen, and it has very good image quality. The last one combines mostly all of the useful features(face detection, image stabilization, plus it has a nice 3.0" LCD screen. I really want something that can take excellent quality photos that can be used for serious photography, and can also be used for ordinary activities like when I'm out with my friends and still take nice shots. So which one's the best?

Canon Ixus 850 IS...has had good reviews, except for it's wide end of the lens.
Sony T100...ok, except for high ISO noise
But, I think either the new Ixus 75 (SD750) or Ixus 900Ti (SD900) are the better choice.
Canon's cameras have great image quality and features.

The Ixus 75, because it has the latest Digic III processor (but no viewfinder).
The Ixus 900 Ti, because it has 10 megapixels (handy if you like to crop). Digic II.
Both cameras have a minimum shutter of 15 seconds, which is essential for long exposures. The Sony...only 1 second.

However, if you really want image stabilization (which is very useful in some situations), then wait for the newly announced Ixus 950 IS, which features the new Digic III processor, 8MP, 4X optical, high ISO, time lapse movie mode etc.
It's my pick...

I already did a bit of a comparison in your other question, so I'll just post part of my stock answer praising the IXUS 900 Ti.

After answering questions here for about 8 months, I finally decided to get a Canon Powershot SD900 (IXUS 900 Ti). After about one month of using the SD900, I am so happy with it that I bought one to give to my niece as an engagement present. I am that confident in the camera.

It's hard to keep up with the flourish of new cameras, but I think the SD900 is still the tops. It has 10 MP and it's the only SD that has the larger 1/1.8" sensor, which is nearly twice as big as the sensor in any of the other SD cameras. This generally translates into better image quality with lower noise. It's the one that I bought as my own personal pocket camera.

Here are a couple of reviews for the SD900:

If you go to the link from my other answer, you can click on "SD900" in the list of tags and you'll find a few more 900 Ti photos.

try doing more research. Look on newegg.com for some reviews of each camera. You may also find it for a cheaper price than what you have already. The site offers some very useful information and I use it alot when buying new electronics.
