Why is it that every time a fighter is not black and he is fighting a black fighter if the other fighter just finishes the fight he gets points and the judges try to give them the win

What I,m talking about is the scoring of the Floyd Mayweather V Oscar DeLa hoya fight that figt was not even close and one of the judges gave it to De La Hoya what a crock and this happens all the time . If you want to know why boxing is taking a back seat to MMA is because TV wount put on the best black fighters they would rather put on two Latino fighters that no one has heard of and that black people can,t relate to because they know that there are a lot of good black fighters out there but the net works wont put them on that is what I,m talking about.

there is a bit of truth in your implication...to better word your point if i may, due to the domination of black athletes in U.S., America is quick to push for non-black athletes....we can look at each sports....

baseball... look at BARRY BONDS...we maybe watching one of the greatest of all time yet he gets nothing but hate n disrespect.... the media and the sports world claim that they hate him because he is a prick and an assh*le....okay, he may be, may not n he may have good reasons why he acts the way he does with the media....but thats not a justification to him being marked as ANTICHRIST...many WHITE basebally players have been d*cks and assh*les...had crazy personal issues....alcoholism, violence against women, gamblers, racist, etc.... AMERICA can't stand that a BLACK athlete such as BONDS can dominate and come off aloof...they can't handle the fact that he is not being their "BOY", doing interviews with a smile...making jokes...blah blah blah....

FOOTBALL.... look at all the bad guys in football...they are all black....OWENS, MOSS, PORTER....now these guys have never had serious criminal pasts...yet, they are the lows of NFL....when a white player acts out, he is deemed WILD n CRAZY and ACCEPTABLE....like ROMANOWSKI...
n the whole thing about how NFL looks at WHITE QBs as intelligent and leaders while BLACK QBs are looked as athletic but lacking intelligence....

TENNIS......the williams sisters dominated the tennis world for a while....during that time, they were never given their full due....they found stuff to trash them....how their dad was crazy...how they had a negative effect on the game of tennis, on and on....when young white tennis players show some talent...they are the saviour of the sport....even after they mess up, as J.CAPRIATI did...with the whole marijuana sh*T....when she returned, AMERICA accepted her as their sweetheart and she became one of the more famous players...

GOLF.....TIGER WOODS..enuff said...look at all the crap he got....for doing this, not doing that...celebrating too much... never once heard anything negative bout PALMER, NICKLAUS...in their prime. they were seen as CLASSY gentleman

BASKETBALL....this is the only exception due to the MONEY factor....when money comes into play for everyone n i mean everyone.....NIKE, GATORADE, WHEATIES, MC DONALDS, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, NBA...all newspapers, magazines, clothing stores, food industry, wall street, etc... when these companies n industries have an opportunity to make money, RACE don't matter.....they all took JORDAN n created him to be the modern pop culture GOD... u market JORDAN, u got success....but look what happened...after he retired n he could not generate the same type of 'GREEN' for you, scandals started to come out...the same writers, journalists, media that used to say JORDAN IS A CLASSY GUY....were saying how he was a womanizer, gambler....

MONEY rules the world...we all know that....foos don't care what color u are if u can bring in money....but lets not be ignorant n say RACE never matters...

Wow all of you have to be kidding me. Saying boxing is racist lol. Name one famous white fighter. Thank you enough said. Blacks had Muhammad Ali (face of boxing and the greatest ever),George Frazier, Roy Jones JR., James Tony, Floyd Mayweather JR.Need I go on. The greatest boxers are black and have been recognized for that. So coming up with this question is a joke. And to the guy that had all the things about every sport Tiger Woods doesn't get no grief . I promise you hes happy . With your football thing Moss,Owens, and Porter there bad faces because of the way they act on the field and treat there teammates . That's why they got the tittle they have (THERE SELFISH). Barry bonds is hated because hes a a**hole, prick, and a cheater in most peoples eyes. He doesn't care either. Everything needs to quit being a racial thing. Floyd still won the fight. I thin Floyd one and so did everyone else on the ppv. The announcers are white and said he won. So quit trying to make drama and get a life. All athletes get the tittle they have from the way they act. and Romonowski has always got heat for being a a**hole(point blank)

I dont believe the judge should have decided for Oscar but he was the aggresser the whole fight. If Oscar doesnt push the fight there is no fight. And boxing isnt taking a backseat to mma because of not showcasing more black fighters. How many champions are black in mma? NONE. Hell, half of them aint even American.

I must disagree with you Romeo. I for one say the fight was close. Oscar was aggressive the whole fight except for points of losing pace, but overall he was the aggressive one. Floyd won by clean counters which he threw when Oscar's pace slowed and that was only off and on during rounds. (Except the 1st) As far as black fighters getting love I think you can be any race and get denied a decision. (Example: Whitaker vs Ramirez I) that fight was not given to Whitaker. Bottom line boxing can be shady sometimes, but hey what sporting event nowadays is decent without a touch of controversy.

Yo ant c, u got a real problem. Seems like you blame black people for everything thats goin' on. Sayin that we are getting things because people are taking it easy on us. We helped build this country, what are you talkin' about? But we are on the internet, so you got the smart mouth for now, it would be a completely different story if you met some of us in person, you'd probably clam up. And about Floyd wearing the sombrero, he is one black person, he probably was making fun of Oscar, take that out on him, not every black person. And saying that Oscar should wear baggy jeans, and ice, i know a few Mexicans that wear baggy jeans, ice, drive nice whips and big rims...that don't mean squat. As a matter of fact, who dug that 2 mile long tunnel packed with all types of drugs over there in Cali...Mexicans...I rest my case.

This is one one of the most moronic questions I have ever read. Your insinuation is that there is a bias against blacks in boxing. That is such bullsh*t. The richest fighter in the history of boxing is a black man - Evander Holyfield.
Boxing is not driven by the color of people's skins, but by the color of money. Green is the only color that counts.
You seriously need to get a life, and stop trying to create racial issues where non exist.

You have a point but it is not that bad. Blacks are the pissing block of America. No one likes us but us. But that is true in all walks of life. Actually boxing is quite fair compared to other sports and professions.

Only thing that surpasses race is money. People see green before they see black.

most of the people who answered you are pro black so good luck getting a truthful answer out of them..anyhow i think its probably a little bit of guilt and some unconscious behavior.the de la hoya robbery is the perfect example.people are going to have to realize they are giving black people things that is not theres and change there way of thinking.

Wow, what kind of question is this? The only color that matters in boxing is Green and Red, that's it!

Boxing doesn't go off of race, its simply about whose more skillful or over paid.
