What I said is factually true. The other point to be made is that with the slave wages also come the human rights abuses, like what was seen in the recent raids where women were worked all hours. I really believe once a person starts doing illegal deeds nothing stops them from continuing. Is THIS the kind of America that YOU want?

I can understand people wanting to better their lives, but do it legally, that is the only option, there is not other way around the law, the law is in place for a reason, and the laws need to be enforced plain and simple and all the "illegals", need, I mean "HAVE" to be rounded up and sent back to their country.

If they are being paid "slave wages"....then there's a whole lot of American citizens working for "slave wages" as well. NOTHING happening to them is any different than happens to regular American citizens. Everyone acts like this is something NEW and something done to just illegals. It's not folks. They passed laws a few years ago to dispence with over-time pay. There's plenty of people working "by the piece" or other means of payment. There's people hired part-time and working more than full time so the business doesn't have to offer benefits. I just want this business of "poor illegals" and "slave wages" and all this junk to stop. It's not targeting them.....they are just more willing to do it and then the employers don't have to straighten up their act.

I'm sure our "slave wages" are great compared to where they come from. Kind of like a little kid who thinks he's rich coz grandma sent him a 50.
It's all relative. I'm sure from their perspective it's almost like a kid in a candy store who's been told take your fill. As times passes and the freebies wane......they will be screaming about "living wages" as well. You can't live on minimum wage, legally, without getting other money from some other source or breaking other laws and destroying our welfare system and everything tied to that. That's the "working poor" and there's millions and millions of American citizens in the same boat. They are no more "special", no more "abused" than many more of our own citizens.

I don't think it's just for the jobs. I'm sure it's more. Some for honest reasons and some for very bad reasons. Problem is they don't wear a t-shirt or white hat to tell the good from from the bad.

Many Mexican people seek work in America for wages that are largely commensurate with the work they do. Long hours are simply part of the job, as is the case with such jobs as medical professionals, military, engineers, and stay-at-home mothers. As they are here illegally, they do not contribute to the system that finances their children's education, their healthcare and a whole host of associated costs. They are welcome here ONLY when they go through the proper immigration procedures. As for the "slave"analogy, remember that they are free (and in my view encouraged) to repatriate. Slaves have historically had no such options.

most come because in Mexico they are not treated as they are here there you kill someone or steal ect you are punished and if you go to prison there then you know you are in jail you do not get to rest on your rear so to speak and cry how you were railroaded, the programs that we have to help people are like manna from heaven for someone that does not have that in their country, and besides it is better to go to a country that you can complain of and not get put in jail than to fight to change things in your own country this immigration thing is only going to be solved the easiest way and that is not the way that La Raza wants we in America are fed up with all the bull and none action of our Senators and Congressmen we shall sooner or later come to the decision that we need not to close the borders but to enlarge our borders and encompass Mexico all the way to the Ocean we will then have a secure border of sorts when we finally get our 51st state

Speaking of illegal Mexicans, I believe illegals come to the US to work here because the wages in the US are better than in their home country plus they are entitled to our welfare system which pays for their legitimate/illegitimate offspring and all their medical expenses. They work labor jobs for less wages than US workers would work. They do not need to learn our language because the US posts signs and prints all forms in English and Spanish and all government agencies and many non-government agencies hire bilingual employees and pay them higher wages to interpret for the illegals. This is just my opinion learned from life experiences.

What we consider slave wages here, is a step up for some of them.
US companies that move their jobs overseas are paying cents on the dollar there. Where they were paying say $10.00/hr here, they are paying $10/day there.
So they will come across here to do those menial jobs that get paid minimum wage per hour because it works out from them vs. what they get paid per day .

It is for the freedom, the chance to become something, to make something of themselves, their lives, and to assist their families, to raise them up from where they are, because even slave wages here are better than what they get there. They are lucky if they can find any sort of job at all where they come from. Here they can get a job, or two, a car, a house, an education for them and their family, children, etc.

You need to take up the issue with the illegals that sneak across the border and decide to work for slave labor. The American that I want, is one in which, that our leaders enforce our laws, and stop the amnesty garage, all it will do is okay the rights of all that want to come from poverty stricken country and stick us with the bill. And please stop portraying the illegals as victims, they made choices and they have to deal with the consequences of their actions

Slave wages? Why would they come for slave wages?
Truth is they dont. The wages here are still many times more than they can get in Mexico and they have more rights here.
I'd like to see your point of view, but I cant get my head that far up my tuchus.

Slave wages??? Wait a minute, were slaves paid any money? Gee, and I thought they were called slaves because they weren't paid anything. Those "slave wages" as you call them are still better than what they can make in their own country and that's why they come.
